I agree, they should do the tour with KK on board, the timing is atrocious and it's all just very very silly (for lack of a better term lol). KK is a FOUNDING member of Priest, he should be there for the last hurrah. Even though KK has released a statement, I still get the feeling there's more to it, as surely they have been through so much together professionally (and personally) they could make it through this last tour and upcoming album together??? Hmmm....
I think it is. The fact is the tour is due to begin very soon and the album is not due till 2012. They should get on with the tour with KK on board and he can step down afterwards before the next album is released, then they can tour that album with the new line up. If that's what they want to do. After nearly 40 years, doing a farewell world tour without your lead guitarist / principal songwriter / guy who started the band is inexcusable. Both parties should realise that what's important on a farewell tour is the audience. Surely they are old enough to deal with each other on a purely professional level. Everyone else has to work with people they don't like or agree with. It's not like they can't afford to get seperate hotel rooms.
