Well, all I have to say to that is if it were that EASY, then EVERYONE would be doing it!!! So Chris is FULL OF SHIT as far as that is concerned, IMO. Rob is the Metal God for a reason - because NO ONE can do what he does. Sure, he stands around on stage a lot more these days. Well, I believe that he is concentrating on his vocals, making sure to get it as perfect as he can. Because we all know that if he doesn't, people completely rip him apart for it. One fucking note he doesn't hit perfectly and that's all some people can talk about. THAT pisses me off to no end - a 99.5% perfect performance and people are bitching about the 0.5% that wasn't!! Rob can sing anything, be it a ballad, hardcore metal or anything inbetween. Most of the metal singers out there CAN NOT do that and that is why Rob is and always will be - THE METAL GOD!
I heard Chris Cornell doing an interview last year. He was asked about other vocalists and their
styles and his opinion of them. Rob of course was mentioned. He said it was "Easy" to do what Rob does.
