Actually Jimmy I'm not trying to encourage people to get behind the new line up,I'm challenging them to say "some" of the same things about the band after they hear this next Priest album. And at first I said I wouldn't see them live, but I changed my mind,so yes I'll see them live unless they don't come here.
And I haven't seen Priest since the 1988 Ram It Down tour....they didn't come to Seattle for the Painkiller tour or I would of went, and I missed the 2004 Reunion tour and unfortunately the Angel of Retribution tour as I had other things going on in my life I don't care to discuss beings its a long story but it was never because I didn't agree with what they were doing.....
Except the Nostradamus tour....thats when I bought tickets to the show but I had only heard one song "Calm Before The storm/Nostradamus which still is the only song I like on the entire album,so I gave my tickets to a friend and he saw the show. I was too "butt hurt" to see them because my expectations and hopes for Nostradamus were so high it was an utter letdown and it pissed me off to say the least. I'm still glad I didn't go.
They never toured here for the British Steel reunion tour,so yeah I still haven't seen them since 1988,but it doesn't bother me. So yeah thats the only time I didn't agree with what they are doing.
You're being extremely vocal in your support for the new line up and album and encouraging people to get behind it. Does this mean you'll be seeing them in concert sometime in the near future? As I recall you've said you haven't seen them live in ages because you didn't agree with what they were doing.

Just wait until this next Priest album is out without K.K. and we will compare it to Nostradamus (with K.K.) and we'll see which album the metal community likes better. I can give a rats butt if Ken is on the album or not at this point, the band has starved us for far too long without a proper metal album and I want some quality heavy metal from Rob,Glenn,Ian,Scott and Richie Faulkner.
The album doesn't have to have K.K. on it to be kick ass,who cares that people will not call it "Judas Priest" good for them, the logo will be on the album cover and Halford,Tipton,Hill and Travis will all be on the record.....for those of us who still are supporting the band we will not be let down, especially not now after all this has gone down.
I don't know this and its just a guess, but I've got the feeling that K.K. had got "bored" with "metal" all together. I think this is why he left the band because Rob and Glenn want a strong metal record and I think K.K. wanted to either have Nostradamus be the last Priest studio LP or wanted to dabble in more experimental material. I think this is the breakdown within the band and the management sided in with Rob and Glenn about creating another strong "metal" album.
Thats my guess and I very well may be way off base here but I'll keep believing this untill I'm proven wrong.
