I hope you didn't take that post as directed at you. I was responding to a comment made about me.
I wasn't taking sides, that's between you two. I always mention waiting by the buses to clue people in to an easy
way to meet bands. There is nothing wrong with Meet and Greets. If those prices are correct then screw the roadtrip.
I'll hit Pittsburgh or nothing. I do give a shit where I sit for the Detroit show because we are bringing our 12 and 9 year old sons to the show and they won't be able to see. I have met MANY bands waiting by the buses as well. Met Priest in Cleveland as a matter of fact. Well, all except for Rob because he ran straight along the backside of the bus and never stopped. The prices for Chicago are $55-$150 per The Venue website, so that is what Ticketmaster should charge once they go up. Detroit tickets have been on sale at Ticketbastard since Saturday.

This person is right about me. I don't always get the seats I want and yes I have enjoyed myself.
Other than Cheech and Chong everyone I met was a result of hanging out before or after a show by the buses.
I did comment about the good seats going to resale outlets. I don't necessarily want front row I just think that
that's a fucked up way of taking advantage of diehards. My concern is the prices and the ones I saw weren't regular
prices so I'll hold my comments until I see them. If the prices are fair I hope to do a road trip to Chicago and Detroit
and hopefully a Pittsburgh date. Maybe a little much but if it's the last time then I feel I have to. |
