By the wording of the questions, it sounds like it came from Sony trying to figure out what we will spend our money on. I think I'm on the list from when I bought the British Steel 30th anniversary package. I remember there being a place to sign up for the JP newsletter. Maybe management finally looked at what other bands are doing with their fans and asked Sony to do better promotions? It was pretty much a marketing survey, here are the questions: How would you describe your interest in Judas Priest?
They're my all-time favourite band
They're one of my favourite bands
They're great, but not one of my favourites
They're OK, but not great
I don't like Judas Priest
What is it you particularly like about Judas Priest?
How likely are you to buy the next Judas Priest studio album?
Definitely will
Probably will
Not sure
Probably won't
Definitely won't
What are your thoughts on new Priest guitarist Richie Faulkner?
How does he compare to K. K. Downing and has he changed your opinion of the band at all?
As Judas Priest start the latest chapter in their seminal history, with the recruitment of new guitarist Richie Faulkner, they want to commemorate the start of this new era and the passing of the last with something special. Which of the following would you MOST like to see available to commemorate the occasion?
A commemorative Judas Priest t-shirt
A new release featuring exclusive live tracks
A commemorative Judas Priest poster
A new release featuring brand new tracks not available elsewhere
A commemorative Judas Priest pendant
A competition to win VIP live tickets
A competition to meet the band
A new release featuring cover versions
A commemorative Judas Priest sew-on patch
A career-spanning Judas Priest box-set
Other, please specify
Which of the following statements best describes your opinion of Judas Priest live recordings?
I love Judas Priest live recordings – I want as many as I can get
I like Judas Priest live recordings – but new ones would have to be better than the ones I already own
I am not too bothered by Judas Priest live recordings
I don't like Judas Priest live recordings at all
And what is your favourite Judas Priest album (excluding compilations)
Rocka Rolla (1974)
Sad Wings of Destiny (1976)
Sin After Sin (1977)
Stained Class (1978)
Killing Machine / Hell Bent for Leather (1979)
British Steel (1980)
Point of Entry (1981)
Screaming for Vengeance (1982)
Defenders of the Faith (1984)
Turbo (1986)
Ram It Down (1988)
Painkiller (1990)
Jugulator (1997)
Demolition (2001)
Angel of Retribution (2005)
Nostradamus (2008)
Other, please specify
If Judas Priest were to put out a new album which featured live tracks, which of the following would make you MOST likely to buy it?
Live tracks that haven't been on previous live releases
Older tracks from the archives (70s-90s)
Classic Judas Priest songs rearranged for the new line-up
Cover versions that have only been performed live
Unplugged/Stripped Down versions of Judas Priest tracks
Thinking about specific tracks, which of these would you especially like to hear on a new Judas Priest live album, featuring recordings by the new line up including Richie Faulkner? SELECT AS MANY AS YOU LIKE.
Prophecy
Turbolover
Painkiller
Rapid Fire
Hellion/Electric Eye
Green Manalishi
Hellbent for Leather
Never Satisfied
Victim of Changes
Living After Midnight
Sentinel
Diamonds and Rust
Nightcrawler
Another thing
Breaking the Law
Starbreaker
Beyond the Realms
Blood Red Skies
Metal Gods
Heading For The Highway
Judas Rising
None of the above
If Judas Priest were to release a commemorative album, available exclusively through their website, featuring a mixture of new tracks recorded with Richie Faulkner, never-before-released live recordings of classic tracks, and new live arrangements of classic tracks, how likely would you be to buy it?
Definitely would
Wonder if you went to Sony you could find the questionaire? Why is a link not posted here? Who asked for this questionaire?
Just wondering............
Murray?......................any insight on this?

The email survey came from Sony, not this website. The record label is trying to figure out what we will spend our money on. Interesting question about how I feel about Richie and has he changed how I feel about Priest. Bastards wouldn't let me give much of an answer though. Hopefully they are finally going to try to promote this tour!!!

Even though I'm kidding I wonder how they determined who got them.
