I can say that I can easily name both those Muppets without having to look it up! HAAA!!!
Doesn't it suck to live overseas? You miss all the good videos. Why don't you quit being lazy and move underseas?

Would she know Winger? Perhaps get the joke tha Micky was the drummer of the Monkees, not the guitarist? LOL!!!!
Nope. KIDS!!

That was very funny! I would have called Flora out to watch it but she would have no clue who the BeeGees are.

Cats make me sneeze!
Man, I can't think of the BeeGees without the "Barry Gibb Talk Show" skit on Saturday Night Live. Damn, I hope this isn't blocked overseas.

It is nice to see someone with a soft heart, who can hear the pleas of innocent little kittens, who do not want to be blown out of existance by the Bee Gees.
Unfortunately, Guido prefers dogs.

Would you?

I think it is as the song goes with you: some "She" has devoured all your sweet love, took all you had and then fed you dirt!"
Shall I break out my BeeGees collection now?
_strat_ wrote:
You own a Monkees CD.
Right. That does it.
guidogodoy wrote:
HERESY!
I thought as much from you, you young bounder. You cad. Thus, I have already prepared my visual response.
Right below. Says quite clearly: Micky Dolenz: guitar! Both CDs autographed! LOL!

LMAO!
Guido, sit down, take a deep breath... Have a drink..
Here it comes:
The Monkees did not play their own instruments.
The Archies probably did, tho, they sound too good to be made up.
guidogodoy wrote:
OMG! NOOOO!!!
Next, you are going to say something absurd like they didn't play their own instruments either.
_strat_ wrote:
Sure. But you do know that they didnt write their own lyrics, right?
guidogodoy wrote:
Oh don't you dare screw with the Monkees, man! Them's fightin' words! LOL!!!
(plus, they had many more hits than Winger).
The lyrics to this song are some of my favorite:

Exactyly? I see Freeze hasnt been around much.
Anyway - Yes, Bon Jovi for Winger - would work. Although since we are at it, they might as well swap it for the Monkees - they are probably heavier than either, anyway.
I read minds at CET 0h - 24h, so theres nothing much you can do here.
What I do hope is that the new Beavis and Butthead will make it to MTV Adria soon. Right now the only thing that they are playing is Jersey Shore and all those bullshit Hip hop shows like Short Circuitz and all the rest that all look the same. Humour has never looked as bad as it does now. We need the Brits to start doing some new sitcoms.
guidogodoy wrote:
1. No, man. I am not saying that Beavis and Butthead should change shirts (sacrilige!...unless they changed to a JP shirt, of course) but that the Winger could be swapped out for, say, Bon Jovi!
2. Yeah, I agree that Butthead has always been smarter (hey, who pays the rent?). My comment was meant to compare the Beavis of old to the new incarnation. He seems smarter than he should be. I once heard an interview about the Simpsons and, in particular, Homer. The creators said that he should be only as smart as a dog. Another creator asked for clarification: "yes, but what BREED of dog!?" LOL.
3. EXACTYLY what I thought when I saw "Snookie!" That South Park line! HAAA!!! I told you to quit reading my mind, damnit! At least between the hours of 4-6 (-5GMT). That's GUIDO'S time!
_strat_ wrote:
The t-shirts have to stay as they are for two reasons:
1. There are no modern bands that would be good (or known) enough to take their place
2. I disagree with Beavis being more intelligent - I always thought that Butthead was the smart one, if nothing else because Beavis has the Metallica t-shirt. They should keep it that way.
I must admit Ive watched Jersey Shore once. It was after I watched the South Park episode ("Snooki want smoosh-smoosh!"), which was much better than the original.
Oh, and youth of today doesnt have a clue about what Winger is. They like Lady Gaga, which makes my stomach turn. Not to say that Winger was brilliant, but at least they could dress better.
guidogodoy wrote:
Kinda odd voice, isn't it? I mean, it is still Mike Judge but it seems like he threw every catchphrase and clip into that one little segment trying to re-capture his old audience. Does the youth of today even know who "Winger" is anymore? They should have updated the t-shirts.
I don't know about you but, IMO, Beavis actually sounds too intelligent! As for the Jersey Shore comments, I am glad to say that I have never once seen the show. That was as much as I have ever seen and I daresay that it was too much. Yeah, spoof Gaga. At least she doesn't make my stomach turn.
_strat_ wrote:
I dont like Beavises new voice much either.
It is a good idea that they comment on Jersey Shore, tho. But I think that Lady Gaga videos might be even better.
guidogodoy wrote:
HAAA!! In the sense of humor, who else has seen the new clip for reviving Beavis and Butthead?
Funny but I don't really like the new tone Beavis has to his voice. Yeah, still Mike Judge but it is different. I might be touchy because I liked the old ones and hate messing with perfection.
"I am CORNHOLIO!!"
