My best since... comment was sarcasm.
I've hated everything they've released after (Black) and saying that is the best since says how bad they are.
Nu metal or old metal, I don't really care as long as it's heavy. I would be bored if all I listened to was old metal. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Tuesday, October 04, 2011 3:08:29 AM)

Best Metallica you've heard since the Black album? Well,I hate everything after ...And Justice For All but this is the the "worst crap I have ever heard from craptallica" hands down.
As I said before,Hetfield is all a sudden a huge Lou Reed fan and claims hes been one for years ect...yet I'd bet if you were to ask him ifd he likes Lou Reed back in 1986 he would of spit on you! lol! Its all good Budred, people can like whatever they want to, I'm not a music police but its my right to think people suck for liking this bullshit. Fuck off to "nu" metal!!! lol!

Calm down J.D.(lol)
Read my post, it says best Metallica I've heard since the "Black" album.
That's my way of saying everything since has sucked. I won't say I like or hate
this until I've heard it. As for getting into old school metal, I do, (But!!!) I like nu also.
Can't change that for anyone's liking but my own.

Sorry Budred but I have to disagree, respectfully of course. The lyrics are pretty harsh/heavy/doom. This is doomier than doom metal and goth combined. It's lou-metal. I like it. And Lars use of the drums is beyond hope: because for him it's Christmas every day :-) Jingle Bells all the way ;-)
The lyrics of another of the songs are posted on Blabbermouth and I have to say they're pretty good. Metallica has earned the right to play with whomever they want. I like the poetry.
