There is a stunning beer from a small company in Texas (interestingly, the ONLY state that can legally secede from the United States) called Shinerbock. It is easily drinkable like an American lager and yet darker hue, full-bodied flavor and smooth, but complex after taste. Not long ago at Ugly Joe's in Kansas City I put a couple scoops of ice cream in my beer and BANG... the Shinerbock float was born. If you like good beer and ice cream, TRY IT! You will be VERY surprised. The flavors are delightful.
