With the exception of "Reckless" (which ironically is probably THE stand-out song from Turbo) JP played every song from that album live on the tour that followed, and then afterwards dropped every single one & apart from "Turbo Lover" haven't aired them since.
My guess is that they think the Turbo songs aren't very popular or are now a bit too obscure.
(To paraphrase Paul Stanley recently on the Kiss Kruise when playing some of their older & lesser played songs to the die-hard fans "Obscure can also means not very good!").

Anyway the Judas Priest doesn't use lots of great and important song- at all or often- in live. For example; Rocka Rolla,Cheater,Run Of The Mill,Dreamer Deceiver,
Deceiver,Island Of Domination,Dissident Agressor,Here Come The Tears,Stained Class,Saints In Hell,Burnin' Up,The Rage,Don't Go,On The Run,Chains,Fever,
Eat Me Alive,Hot For Love,Reckless,Hard As Iron,Monsters Of Rock,One Shot At Glory ,Lots of Nostradamus song etc.
The reason is simple and very good:the Judas Priest has a long, extremely influental and successful carrier with so many great songs. |
