[HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS] Tuesday, January 17, 2012 7:49:50 AM
I wish that we could get the soundboard recording of that show in Hammond!! THAT show should have been recorded! The next night in Detroit, he was incredible as well but missed a couple of things here and there. Cleveland was the same as the Detroit show. No singer is able to hit every single note at every single show, and I don't expect or demand that they do. Just because he is The Metal God, doesn't mean that he is always perfect and people need to stop expecting him to be. Rob gave it everything he had in every single show that I attended, they all did. But at the beginning of the tour, Rob was struggling. But we have always known that it takes his voice time to get used to touring again and he is always better at the end of a tour than at the beginning. I just wish that they had recorded one of the US shows, because from all the people I have talked to, they all said Rob was incredible and the best they have heard him since the Painkiller tour. They will probably record this in Japan and unfortunately with a couple of months off, I don't know if his voice will be as good as it was when they toured North America.

I have to keep going back to John Baxter's rant - I believe there is a lot of truth in what he said, especially the "let's sit on the sidelines with KK and watch how the Glenn and Jayne show plays out". My opinion of why KK left has changed. I saw an interview with him and he is heartbroken over leaving. This is not something he wanted to do but he couldn't stay with the way things were. It's really sad, but here we go again - MONEY and people's greed destroy another band.
