Ok, March ski trip to Park City, Utah. For those who actually ski (not snowboard as Deer Valley doesn't allow them), there are three major places to ski: Deer Valley, The Canyons and Park City itself. Pop and I got a condo right in Park City. cool as you can catch a ski lift right out of the city. For those who don't know, this is the same small, one-street (basiclally) town that hosts the Sundance Film Festival. Mora about that to come.

First, This is park City resort. Just missed catching a deal from someone who wanted to sell a lift ticket by minutes. DAMN! Cold, windy but a helluva view. All peaks are around the 9000ft range. This is looking down on an icy double black diamond. Thought I'd take a picture in case I pulled a Sony Bono (RIP). Hard to tell but BIG bowl for those in the know.

Park City is cool as the runs have these pieces of art all around the runs. Funny as hell. Sorry to not have snapped a shot of one with a metal mohawk.

Next. The Canyons. Double Black. Too bad the moguls don't show. Low visibility in general that day. Next got better as Pop and I hit all three several times. Lose it on a mogul? No trouble. A tree will stop you. Bump and turn! This run, curiously enough is called, Nine-Ninety -90. Means 9,990 feet in the air. Yes, they scan you before you ascend to make sure they mark your body as "lost." You have to pay to have them come and find you. Avalanche almost got a snowboarder the day before. Like a riptide....cut across and SWIM to the surface!!

Deer Valley. The "posh" place." Damn good skiing and great days. Plus, the necessary shot. Skinny, wimpy me and the JP Cross!

The lake below was better by itself.

Finally, after every good day. Brindis con mi papá. Nobody broke a leg or died (notice 70+ year old pop wears a helmet?).

Cheers all.
