I knew this thread wasn't exactly appropriate for such a post but after all the crap I took for posting
in the memorial(?) thread I decided to just stay away. I thought by including my first concert comment
that would qualify as a random fact. Thanks for posting that video. I was going to search it out yesterday
but forgot about it [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Saturday, June 09, 2012 3:41:25 PM)

Hardly a "random fact" but thanks for the 411, Bud. I, too, remember him and his stint with FM and Ebony Eyes quite fondly.
Enough to deserve a play. If you don't recognize the first notes, you are too young or not from the US. RIP, Bob..

Bob Welch killed himself yesterday. Some here may not know who he was. He played in Fleetwood Mac in the early
70's and had his own band for a while after that. He had a hit "Ebony Eyes" in the late 70's. I wasn't really a fan of his but
I did like that song when I was young. I haven't heard it in decades. I felt a little strange hearing the news because he was
the very first person I ever saw walk on a stage. My first concert was Foreigner With Bob Welch opening up. I was 12 years old.
