Yea bro, think if the tables were turned, your wife has an old flame show up and meets him for a few drinks. You should probably stop it now before it gets out of control. Especially if you have children. The half hour of pleasure could have a lifetime of regret. Just my opinion. Thanks gang, but it will be a slow process, as I mentioned. And that is just for the basic pilots license, there is a ton of other certifications to get to really be able to enjoy flying. But it is only a matter of studying then passing the testing.
As for my friend, we have hung out three times now just for dinner an drinks. The wife has voiced concern since I am not trying to hide anything from her. I have assured her that she has nothing to be concerned with. Now, if I can only convince myself of that!!!!
