Funny you ask. Visiting the River Walk and taking the boat tour was the one thing my mom wanted to do before leaving Texas. And that was what we did. We also got into the mall right after, where we bought some souvenirs and looked like a bunch of tourists when we left for CA the next day.
Did you get to the River Walk in San Antone? It's beautiful, also all the great mexican restaurants along the way. The river walk mall was cool too. Hope you had a good time.

Well, just came back from Texas. Stayed in Houston and went to San Antonio, Galveston, and a town called Tyler. The trip was mainly for a family reunion of sorts, so I didn't get to do too many touristy things. Weather was humid, but pretty tolerable. Pics will have to wait, though, since I can't find the USB cord at the moment. Grrrrrrr...
