That's because Tate is a complete egotistical ass! We saw Queensryche last year and met them after the show. Geoff only likes people that kiss his ass. I told him that The Warning was my favorite album and he looked at me like I was crazy. The rest of the band thought it was awesome that we loved The Warning, but not Geoff. Whose idea do you think that Cabaret bullshit tour was???? Yeah, Geoff's. We could tell they were not getting along when we met them. The rest of the band wanted to play all the old stuff and loved that we brought all our old QR stuff to be signed. I told Eddie that I really miss hearing Take Hold Of The Flame and he said they want to play it but Geoff can't sing it. I told him that they should just let the crowd sing it then and he said, shit - I'LL SING IT! So this complete BULLSHIT that Geoff spewed on TMS that he only has one vote and they never faught..... yeah right. As a fan, it was completely obvious that they wanted to go back to their roots of METAL and Geoff doesn't want to be metal anymore and has said it over and over again. They finally found someone that can take Geoff's place and Todd is AWESOME!!! Goeff hired his wife as manager, his daughter to run the front office and his son-in-law as a guitar tech. Not to mention his wife's ex-husband played keyboard and sang all the high parts because Geoff couldn't hit the notes. Hmmmmm, I'd say he has a bit more control of things than he would like everyone else to believe! The FOUNDING members of QR - Eddie, Scott and Whip are so happy to be free of Geoff and are writing a new METAL album with Todd. As a fan of OLD QR, I am so happy to hear that they are going back to their metal roots and will not be writing the complete shit that Geoff has been writing since Promised Land!!

I thought having Zakk on with Geoff was HILARIOUS!! After the show last year, Geoff talked about wanting to go to the spa and getting a manicure/pedicure and facial...... and there he is sitting next to Zakk talking about grabbing his poop out of the toilet and flinging it!!
Shame that this is how the once mighty Queensryche goes out. Fighting over the band name and the judge decides that both Tate and the rest of the band that kicked him out can continue to use the name. Brilliant! What gets me about that interview with Tate on TMS was that he didn't see it coming? He doesn't deny punching bandmates, kicking over drums and spitting on them but it is a surprise that they gave him the boot? Didn't notice when the other four formed a "side project" and played all Queensryche tunes? THAT wouldn't give someone a hint?
Whereas Tate didn't bother to come out to greet the fans at a small 1500+ venue, Rob plays a full show in Detroit, changes in the bus and STILL comes out to sign for the fans! All hail Rob and the boys! Metal GODS!
