Ozzy sued Black Sabbath over the name. My understanding is that Ozzy got a cut of the money of any merch sold under the name Black Sabbath. So they changed the name to Heaven and Hell to cut Ozzy out of the $$. Can't say I blame them there!!
Bud, we would never have missed The Metal Masters tour period, but I am so glad they had Heaven and Hell on the bill. Front row right in front of Tony Never thought that would be the last time we would see RJD. What a great show they put on!
I never did figure out why the last dio sabath tour had to be billed as Heaven and Hell, except that they didnt want to remove ozzy from sabath again. that said, I prefer dio sabath by a wide margin. too bad...

I don't think they were disrespecting Dio in any way just getting on with business. I remember I was going to skip the "Metal Masters" tour
because of my hatred towards "Nostradamus" but decided to go that day. I'd still be beating my head against the wall over missing that one
knowing I could have went. I had no clue (obviously) that would be Dio's last.

I always felt that Ozzy's reunion with the rest of Black Sabbath was a little too soon after Dio passed away. Not sure why.
