I remember back when "High n Dry" was released a friend of mine came by to show me his new car and that was blasting on the stereo and I was blown away with it. Loved that album. Then they released "Pyromania" and I rushed out to get it and what a let down that was. Kind of like when Point Of Entry was released after British Steel. Point Of Entry is a lot better than Pyromania though. Anyway congrats on getting to see them and Ozzy in their prime. I thought that was Def Leppard at their best. It was their first U.S. tour in support of "High N' Dry" which is my favorite album by them.
I thought they were going to be a metal band after the first two albums but then they did Pyromania and you could sense a difference in direction.
I haven't cared for them since.

Awesome! Def leppard was good at that time in my opinion.

I did.
Pittsburgh Stanley Theatre (1981)
Ozzy Osbourne and Def Leppard. There may have been a third band but I honestly can't remember.
Ozzy was stoned as usual and didn't sound fantastic but it was a good show. I didn't know anything about Randy Rhoads
so I'm not going to say how great he was but I do remember thinking this guy is pretty good. I had tickets to see them the
following summer but of course that never happened.

Has anyone here been lucky enough to see Ozzy back in the day with Randy Rhoads? I'd love to have seen that.
