I don't think anyone is expecting a cd to be released every year or even every two which shouldn't be all that difficult really.
I don't think everyone expects all Priest to sound the same either, or at least I know I don't. I do believe that Priest fans expect metal
from these guys and not whatever that was on "Nostradamus" though. All criticism isn't meant to tear down the Priest either. Why does someone
have to love everything they do. I hate "Nostradamus" but I still had hope they would return to form. They unfortunately aren't doing
anything to keep that hope alive. It's been 5 years since (a) cd and nearly a decade since a (good) cd so I think all of their fans have
reason to expect something from them. And their last post did nothing to excite me because they said they were working on it last year too.
As I wait for "something" I'll take anything from these less than innovative new bands. I think they are innovative enough by constantly changing
and expanding the metal genre and not relesing the same kind of stuff generation after generation. All older people complain about newer
music. Doesn't anyone remember the ridicule of metal or anything 80's by all those classic rock fans. Now we're doing it and a few generations
from now today's youth will do it. I'm sorry but if I listened to the same style of metal everyday I would be so bored. If I listened to Nostradamus
everyday I would be so sick. I can't wait to hear new Priest but while I'm waiting I'll take today's music. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Stained_White_Trash from Tuesday, March 12, 2013 10:54:28 AM)

Some fans in here have decided they're done with judas priest and are now doing whatever they can to tear it all the way down to the ground. Good reason to just stop reading their post unless you are just desperate to read. Where is all this new and innovative stuff other bands are doing? And it hasn't been even 2 years since KK left the band. What exactly do these people think judas priest should have done the last 5 years? I suppose they could have released 5 albums to wow the music press and fans but not sure what exactly is innovative about that. One could argue iron maiden was "innovative" with Final Frontier but the fan response seems to be quite muted. So why should judas priest release an album every year? Again, I'd love to know exactly what innovation the fans thinks judas priest should be doing that its not right now. People seem to expect a revolutionary album from judas priest once a year or something. That's very annoying IMO!!!!
