Yes, I can see why some people might say that. But, if you are actually a fan of Priest and/or Rob Halford, you would know that Rob has many different voices that he sings in. He used this same style in parts of Electric Eye and Dreamer Deceiver, just to name 2 classic Priest songs off the top of my head. I don't hear anyone bitching about his voice on either one of those songs. Part of the reason that I love Rob is the fact that he can change his voice to match the feel of the song. That is part of why Priest has never gotten boring to listen to for me, unlike other bands, whose singers can only sing one way. After awhile, all those songs start to sound the same to me and I get bored. Rob keeps it feeling new and fresh by changing his voice/style throughout an album.

Yup, that's a real fan for ya. Dipshit doesn't know that Evening Star was on the album Hell Bent For Leather, not British Steel.  Therefore his agrument is INVALID!!
As far as I'm concerned, they are fans of certain albums/songs and that's it. We are fans of the band!! I don't love every song on every album, but I can appreciate them all and what they were trying to accomplish.

I think it's hilarious to read some of the stupid shit people write. I swear, some people are NEVER SATISFIED!! I think about one of the Priest classics like Metal Gods and if that song were released today, these idiots would say it sucks because it isn't heavy/fast enough!!

I LOVE these 2 tracks so far and YES.... for those who wanted "Painkiller part 2" well this "sound" actually sounds NOTHING like Painkiller besides the similarities between Tedeemer Of Souls and Hell Patrol,but it still doesnt "sound" like it should be on the Painkiller lp....I prefer the Redeemer Of Souls track over the mighty Hell Patrol he he!

Yes,being a Priest FAN and claiming them being my #1 fav band since 1981....I feel that my opinions are worthy too as I too know what "classic Priest" should sound like and holy shit HRMG....this is it!!! The Priest are BACK!!!
