You live in one of those depressed states that will always vote Reblican even though they never get anything they are promissed. WV is the same way. and KY for that matter. Promise KY and WV more mining and you have them. Only problem is, mining has been dying for years if they really wanted to help Appalachia they would finish the Coal Highway so new industry might stand a chance to move in to that area and benefit from the good peole there who only want to work for a living, just like the rust belt.
