My two cents worth, it's the glasses link Vail posted probably with polarized brown classic lense (click lenses then scroll down to choose color). They don't look grey in that photo, more of a bronze color.
Agreed about "polarized" (could be "pilot" but I think those would compete with the classic Aviators) but you think just the silver version of what you posted?

Say, what type of Ray Bans are these? You can clearly see the "Ray Ban P" on them but model? www.ray-ban.com/usa

Not sure, to be honest. Just thought that he was wearing the gold version from the pic.

Wish I had the tix but I saw 'em in '82 or so. No where near the lineup, though, that I remember.
I agree about Richie - I never saw JP live wiith KK, I have only seen them with Richie, and his energy really seems to invigorate the whole band!

I'm greatful for what K.K. has given us in past times yes of course, but it pisses me off that he was planning on Nostradamous being the LAST Priest album and pisses me off even more that he was planning on touring it in 2008 for the next 8 freaking Years!! And the set list would be saturated with Nostra material . Had that happened I wouldn't be interested in seeing the band anymore "by now 2016".
What a boring scenario that would of been. Now I'm glad K.K. is golfing instead of ruining our favorite band!
Rob and Glenn must of said FUCK THAT!! Kenny was outnumbered by the band members and management. Glad they scrapped playing Nostradamus in it's entirety live. It would of flopped .
Out of several posts I've read across the internet these last 5 years not too many fans MISS K.K. in the band,as everyone seems to hail Richie Faulkner.AWSOME!
[spapad] Wednesday, January 13, 2016 6:26:33 PM
I'm just so very grateful for the JP of today. When tours come round its the only time I'm sorry the US is so big. If we all lived in a tiny county we could all see a show together. lol
I do believe KK was ready to retire. Ya know I'll not say a word againsdt him. lol
All turned out just fine. All Hail Ritchie! And an extra special hug to Rob,Glen, Ian, and Scott for still wanting to give fans more. Love Them!
Yes. spa,try and scroll thru the blabbrrmouth .com articles...its still there its from July 27th 2015 aand its K.K. himself saying exactly what I posted. Nostrodsmus was HIS "BABY" much more than the others ....yes,he wanted Nostradamus to be the very LAST Judas Priest album...and he says he would of preferred to tour it for years and basically milk Nostodamus until the end. The hell with Mr.Downing these days, wouldn't that suck or what spa? Hail Mr.Faulkner!!!

I got to say. I would have been more than a little crushed if Nostradamus had been the last release of the greatest HM band ever.
Redeemer is an awesome album and I'm crossing my fingers they return to the studio one last time. I know they won't do it if its not the band at its absolute best. I have every faith they can do just that.

ABSOLUTELY BULLSHIT - THOSE HARDCORE IDIOTS
KNOW NOT A FUCKIN' THING OF K.K. DOWNING!! HAA!!
[J.D. DIAMOND] Wednesday, January 13, 2016 3:15:03 PM
@spa.... There is an article on blabbermouth. from July 27th, 2015.... If you scroll through the archives and find it it's an article about KK downing, KK explains how he absolutely loves the Nostradamus album, and he says in this article that he wanted Nostradamus to be the last Judas Priest studio album, he says it would've been the perfect album and the perfect way to end Judas Priest's recording career and after 2008, he would have preferred the band tour from 2008 possibly until even now just one long neverending tour.
I think obviously that Rob, Glenn, Ian snd Scott wanted to keep going forward with heavy metal, Scott Travis said so back in 2011 when KK quit the band. I'm so glad that Rob and Glenn decided against KK's idea to end Judas Priest's career with Nostradamus album, Rob and Glenn absolutely love Nostradamus as well, but obviously did not want to end their career on that note.this we pretty much can figure out by these articles and what these guys are saying, but all the other stuff like you said spa is something we will never know and something perhaps we shouldn't know, but make no mistake about it I believe this line up of Judas Priest is the best and the band or out there best in their career at the moment.
[spapad] Wednesday, January 13, 2016 10:32:27 AM
Ritchie has certainly amped the band up, but there are other things, that of course we'll never know of, (nor should we) that have probably taken place. A sense of agree to disagree and trust the other's ability as much as your own. Things of the like that only maturity brings. Whatever IT exactly is. I love it!

I'm sure it wasn't lying but when I saw Princess Bride it was either on Video or HBO, and you know how frickin' long it took for things to go from theather to other forms back then. Year and a half was not unusual at all.
Really? 87. I would have guessed around 90. I didn't get to theathers much back then so 90 might have been when I saw it.

Agree with you 100%. MUCH more interaction with the crowd, stop to pose for pix, Rob is so appreciative on behalf of what the fans have given to the hardcore followers of the band.
That is my vote. NOW! Could barely get them to sign an autograph back in the day. Now we all know to hang out by the busses. Even speaking with Richie was a friggin' blast. Funny and extremely quick-whitted fellow.
Do you enjoy seeing Priest more now or back in the day SFV/DOTF tiimes? And tell why please.
I've thought about it, and I think I enjoy the mature JP live. Rob talks to the audience and connects in ways he didn't do when he was younger, all of them seem like they are enjoying their time on stage now, and I can't help but think alot of that comes from the exuberane Ritchie and Scott together have brought into the fold.
I loved the JP of long ago of course, they had tons of energy and the shows were always excellent but they just seem so much more in touch with the audience now it's hard for me to compare the two. Apples to organges maybe or maybe it's because I have matured right along with them.
So, what do you guys think?

Anyway, to Lemmy. If you find cancer that aggressive, 2 weeks is a mercy. Having lost my sister to cancer earlier this year, watching her for 4 months in the hospital up to the end was very painful. I hope one day (and soon) for a cure to this horrible disease.

OMG! I didn't have time before I left this morning to put the block on PMs back on and I find this right now! HO HO!!! Too funny! Do we HAVE a "friend request" on this site that nobody told me about in the last decade or so? If so, someone tell me how it works!!
"I have told you REMOVE your fuckin' friend request! Only you can do this!! Why you have sent me a friend request ? Tell this your few idiots! You cannot be proud to have the few stupiest "fans"ever! I have had thousands of real true JP - fans on fb - I did quit fb for Boogie! You are a poor not satisfied old man who feels only great if you write bad about Boogie and me!"
Now, I don't know if I even WANT to put the block all but "friends" from PMing me as this is too funny. Like a Monty Python movie "I'm not OLD and my name is Dennis...you didn't bother to find out, not did you?" HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
I would have just mailed her back and said. I'm sorry I did not understand a word you just typed. They aren't in the right order to make any sense. Please dont' try again. LOL Batshit crazy.

Guess I'll have to change my settings back to "receive messages only from friends" that I flipped off when Zomby wrote to me. What a nutcase!!

I would have just mailed her back and said. I'm sorry I did not understand a word you just typed. They aren't in the right order to make any sense. Please dont' try again. LOL Batshit crazy.
HAAAAAA!!!! Speak of the batshit devil. Look at what she just sent me via PM:

Yup, been blasting Lemmy for quite some time myself. What a loss. As you say, though, who'd have thought he would have made it to 70?!
And a huge R.I.P. obviously to Lemmy! I've only now posted it after listening to my Motorhead discography the whole week. Well what a bummer but at least he made it to 70! If he would of quit smokin' and drinkin'Jack at age 50 it would of resulted in "watered down tame Motorhead" .......who would of wanted THAT? Lemmy gave us 100% to the end.
Judas Priest is almost retired too ,in 2018 by the end of the year, they will already have thier next studio album out which will be thier last of course and our favorite band I predict will respectively hang up their leathers ...44 years of the Priest is more than anyone could of asked for.

Hello J.D.! Great to see you.
I know how you feel about Lemmy. I've spent the last week blasting Motorhead in the car since it's my only domain where I can crank up music and not catch shit from either my kid or the dog. He was full throtlle his whole life except the last two years and even then his cutting back was to most of us our ALL out . Killed by Death. He really didn't take it easy until then. We'll miss him.
Now, I hate to bring up the word morgue but seriously, where is everyone these days? Like I have a right to ask after being gone for months on end.

Nice to see you again too! Gone too long from here.
Whoops, wrong thread. cant figure out how to edit that now.
Anyway, to Lemmy. If you find cancer that aggressive, 2 weeks is a mercy. Having lost my sister to cancer earlier this year, watching her for 4 months in the hospital up to the end was very painful. I hope one day (and soon) for a cure to this horrible disease.

Absolutely, if you have to go from cancer. Make it quick. I've seen too many raveged by it. A cure would be incredible.

Damn. Just heard this from you, Acolyte. Thanks for the post. Lemmy was a true legend and I am glad to have seen him many a time in venues both big and small.
We lost a giant "I play Rock and Roll" icon. The world is a sadder place for it as I am personally touched. RIP, Lemmy. You'll be missed. Song to come up in the "listening thread" ASAP.

Kinda like the loons here that contradict themselves. "You are Middle-Easterns who hate Middle-Easterns?" Guys speak perfect English but are clearly from Brazil (who else would flash a football / soccer emblem?) heritage and, like here and around the backass states in the south, made NO sense.
Then again, crazy is universal, eh? Got 'em here, Austria, TX, even found a good one in Paris by Notre Dame screaming a la loca.

TOO funny as the woman just rants about nonsensical crap and you can see that one of the guys is even riding a (damn expensive) Zero Gravity ride that probably costs as much as her car! LOL!!!
Brazil = Peru = Muslim??! Man, sounds perfect for the thread here! LOVE the comments below the vid. Dumbass American. usuncut.com/news/crazy-racist-woman/

Blabbermouth article has Priest going into the Studio 2016....apparently they had a meeting last week on rather to keep touring(because they are beseiged with the demand for Judas Priest! ) or stop touring and go back to the studio ...
I posted a while ago, months ago that I read they were going into the studio 2016 but I guess there was a chance they may of toured 2016....anyways that's good news non the less. I think Redeemer Of Souls is the most underrated Priest Album. Not saying its their best,(it's their 4th best in my opinion) but it's definitely the most underrated.
And remember when a few idiots claimed Rob sounded like fucking Ozzy on March Of The Damned ...THAT is retarded.
And this "production" b.s.....fuckin A man I just got through listening to the entire album of Defenders Of The Faith...love the damn thing...bought it in 1984 the day it came out(I was 14) ...love it....but the production in my opinion is "worse" than Redeemer Of Souls ...the drum tone and over all sound of the drums are identical to a drum machine of that era....its terrible....but the rest is decent....if Defenders came out right now it would get more hammered than the new album has that's for sure.

She said Nashville is lovely, she has really enjoyed seeing the Grand Ole Opry today. They're heading to Birmingham AL tomorrow, checking out heaps of the South!
Grand Ole' Opry (beautiful) is literally in the backyard of both the mall and Opryland Hotel. Too close NOT to see while the mall is with walking distance too. I always dig the Gibson store / shop in the mall as you can watch them make instruments there. Just ask Spa who made me pull her out of there kicking and screaming (heh....quite the opposite, in all honesty, as she is not here to defend herself). Back downtown SHE really wanted to go to the Parthenon which is back towards the other places I named downtown. Google it for images and you'll see the giant reproduction. Has a really cool museum underneath the building itself that is worth seeing as well if they catch it when it is open. If not, just a drive through the park / seeing the massive statues of a structure that was built in 1890 or so (full scale replica!) is pretty damn impressive. All that is in West End.
Yeah, they LOVE Nathan Bedford Forrest around here. Many a park and rest stop named after him as well. Like Columbus, NOT a nice guy, as you said. Nice that she knows so much about the US Civil War as she is visiting the heart of it.

Ah, she'll love Nasheville. TONS to do. If she wants to hear some good music, there is a little hole-in-the-ground place (literally as the enterance is in an alley) started by BB King. "Blackstone's" is a great brewery with wonderful but not terribly expensive food down that same street. Have to take a taxi or drive to get there as they are not exactly within walking distance. Another "do not miss."
Opryland (mall) and especially the hotel are also just amazing. Hotel before the mall but they sit right next to one another. Hotel is like a giant amusement park!
I name indoor places as it is rather brisk and rainy fall weather here. Hope she has a good time!

Guido! Random piece of info for you - my twin sister is currently in your neck of the woods (state wise anyway), she's in Nashville at the moment with a couple of friends. Drove from Memphis, via the Shiloh battlefield, today.

Actually makes me wonder just what the bass itself is made of...or if it's covered in some sort of fire or heat-proof material. SHOULD be, considering how hot that flamethrower must get.
The noticeboard link takes you to Priest.com ? Finally clicked on the search link and it brought me to the board. What's going on with that, anyone else have the same problem ?

Win 10. RED!
[guidogodoy] Tuesday, October 20, 2015 9:37:21 PM
Red here on XP as it was on my webbook. Odd. About to fire up the Win 10 machine here. Curious to see what (if) you find out anything with the US IP.
I really can't believe that they run more than one server for this site. Too be seen, guess.
still blue. havent tried another device. might have to try at work I get a US Ip there. tomorow, off to Banff today. work, but still yay

Hmmmmm.....just checked on an i4, i5s, i6 and Motorola Android. All red here.
Not the OS, obviously. Have yet to try the different flavors of Win at home but that is just plain odd. Thanks for the extra info. Simple "need to know" will have me test it out ASAP.

@Headbanger, yeah the same thing happened here, Alice cooper was playing about 40 miles away and sold out his show as well , Priest was not that well attended, however , it was like getting a private show which was awesome, @Guido , fonts are now red on my computer but still blue when i use my phone to access the site

Really shouldn't matter, Nupe. Not like they are running multiple servers here on JP.com.
If they called up the page, as both did when they posted, they aren't running from cached pages anyway.
Curious. I have yet to fire up any other machines but am thinking OS more than anything. Heck, I am even going to spoof a ".ca" IP to see if I can see blue!
Hmmm...I like what Webby has done with the place. Not a big fan of the red font color for the links and usernames, though.

I had forgotten the halloween effect. in 05 though I thought they played calgary on the 31st. I know it was very close to halloween, and Alice cooper played same night at the Jack singer (the fancy concert hall). Alice sold out 2500 seats. the paper said priest had about 8000 fans, looked about right. lower bowl was close to full, upper was sparse.
Hard rock casino in coquitlam is only 1,000 seats, it is a terrible time to book for a band for beside xmas the next biggest event night of the year is halloween, had trouble filling it here in Vernon. Same time October 24th 2005

wonder if its a country thing? Accolyte and I are both in Canada?
Huh. Curious. I saw all red font when I checked with a webbook on Win 10. Four more Win-boxes / laptops running all from XP to 10 upstairs so I'll take a look at those ASAP. On all other machines was just like this MacBook Pro running Yosemite....RED.
I'll fire up some more machines tomorrow while I scratch my head wondering how some coding could go blue on certain machines. Font change, yes. Color though? Hmmmmm.....

Just back. Yup. Usernames and links now in red. Typing all the same on PC, Mac and Linux. All the same otherwise. Sadly, even the shitdisturbers.

Just saw about the canceled show in CA. Wonder, how do you get a scheduling conflict that close in? someone would have noticed no? or is the attendance so poor they gave up? the canadian leg seems to have tickets available everwhere.
Not sure what the capacity of the hardrock in vancouver is, but tix available for both shows. Tix in any seating area available in winnipeg and regina.

Nice posts as always, man. Saw on the first sidebar that Tommy Lee had to sit on the sidelines due to an injury. THAT would have sucked to have travelled all that way to front row M&G and NOT see Tommy play! Only thing worse would have been the the Priest shows that they were unable to play.
Is she really?! Never would have guessed hahaha! Mind you a lot of people outside the US would assume Lincoln was a democrat based on the modern democratic party, when he was a republican (yes I realise you will already know that haha).
