I'd love to see Rob and Chris on the same stage singing. When Rob destroyed him he'd have to eat those words with a whole lot of humble pie.

Chris Cornell is seriously one of the worst singers out there, he sounds the same in just about every song I've heard of his. Screechy and terrible. Therefore, any opinion of his on singing is null and void.

| Halford was definatly better in the earlier albums. But he's awesome!!!!!! I saw them last summer for the 30th anniversay tour of Britsh Steel. Unfotunitly he keep his head down while singing almost all night but i had not seen them in about 20 years and man it was incredible. NO BAND GETS ME ROCKING LIKE PREIST. I'm 45 and i've loved them since i was 13 and i'll love them till the day i die!!!! So many memories!! |

Rob's voice is so versatile, and with that INSANE range he could definitely sing opera....I would assume he has had some classical training or at least exposure. There is a mystical quality about his sound - there may be others that can hit those high notes as well, but for me he is the greatest and most unique metal singer of all time. He could sing the phone book and still turn my crank!!!!
