i think it was bill cosby who bought the rights to the show because he thought it was racist? you hear anything about that? Shame too, come on, what isn't to like about Hal Roach's casting?! |

As for the SNL question, they just flashed an ad..."wanna see Sara Palin or watch it again? Head over to NBC.com." Just took a quick look, and I didn't see it. www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/
Debates are pretty funny there, however you are right about it being really funny "back in the day." Sure, we are far from the Belushi days that kept me fighting to stay awake as a kid, they do have some talented comedians. However, they seem to be few and far in between lately. Shows like the Daily Show steal a lot of their thunder, IMO. |

There is a bit of hope. Still sort of sad that you can't seem to be president without going through all the talkshows and SNL, though. |

jerZgirl, so sorry to hear about your break up. I too know of the pain of loss.
I wish you the best. Feel what you feel, and when you're ready you'll bounce back.
Know that you are not alone, even if it feels like you are.
In the meantime, watch a sad movie or twenty- giving you the "excuse" to let it all out and cry like a baby; lean on a good friend(s) who are NOT your ex; eat your favorite dessert or candy without guilt; and remember that sleep is restorative so get a lot of it or as much as you can.
You'll be in my thoughts. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by jerZgirl from Friday, October 17, 2008 6:15:02 AM) | | jerZgirl wrote: | | We had a talk last week, just an opening up talk, and then last night we had another talk-like we were better off as "friends".
Which we are, we know the same people which is a blessing and a curse...but we have so much in common, we finsih each others sentences, and it was like my heart snapped in half. It was very civil, not at all amicable but after all we went through it ends as "just friends". And that feels worse sometimes than just dissapearing forever...its hard to be friends without crossing that line again, y'know?
SO I cried until 1:30...went out to the diner with my unemployed friend....went home, cried some more, fell asleep for a few hours then woke up and cried again...
I'm calling out of work "sick" today...theres no way after the week i have had that I can go in there sane today...I need a day to myself...
I just got paid, and I'm prolly going to blow it all on something dumb like a tattoo but whatever... | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Awwww...sorry to hear that, JerZ. He "let you know?" How very civil of him.
Always a sad thing when relationships go south. I am sure most (if not all) of us here know. They always say: "better now than 20 years into it, married and with children." Logically, "they" are right. Emotionally, it hurts just the same. At least you can always count on your metal family for support. Much metal love, my friend. | | jerZgirl wrote: | | I hope everyone's thursday was better than mine...my boyfriend of 9 years let me know i am single as of tonight...
::sigh::
