I don't know what to think about setting the clocks thing... I get to sleep one more hour that day... BUT after the new hour is setted I have to work on Sundays from 7 am to 2pm.... F***! wich means I have to get up at 5am on sunday morning  major sucks!!!

I meant to tell you. The owner of the sailing center lost his dog about six weeks ago. Lilly. She used to walk the marina with him everyday. One of the sailboats in the fleet is her namesake. I am told he brought a new puppy to the marina. Her name is Bella.

When the doctor told me about Bella as soon as I hung up the phone I was in hysterics and had to leave work immediately to go to her. I will tear up for years to come over her. I'm not sure when exactly I learned to adapt, desensitize. Think I had a coming to terms with mortality after seeing carnage in OKC. I am very sentimental. Grief is very personal to me and I express it in my own way, far away from others. Publicly, I come off cold and uncaring.

My step-son lived for feeding days! bring home tiny mice and watch the whole event. Later, was at a friends house. Harley was 6. There was a little chick in their enclosure. Needless to say, the python went hungry until they could get another chick ... lol And we kept the chick for a couple of days 'til I convinced Harley it was part of the "circle of life"  and it was best that we feed the snake

Harley and I sit through a couple of episodes on nights we have the time ; ) It's the only time I get the, "Gee, Mom, you really are smart" look, instead of some of the other quizzical, sideways glances I get sometimes. Check this post for details on the current server situation.
Whilst we are running on this backup server the site will be running considerably slower, as some of you have noted below. There is also issues with timezones etc that I am aware of. However, these haven't been my priority these past few days, and once I move this site back to its usual server those issues will no longer be a problem.

Here too. Its showing 01:18 right now. GMT is worse, its showing 7:18 GMT now, although it must be over 11 in the GMT zone right now. That is if Im right and GMT stands for the time zone in Britain.
The noticeboard in general has been slow in the past few days, at least with me.
