Actually, with all this AOR talk, I pulled it out and gave it a listen...it may not be on the same grinding vein as DOTF or Painkiller, but it's still a great album.  Deal with the Devil and Wheels of Fire are great tunes.  There's no telling what JP will come up with next.  I know a lot of people want one more DOTF or PK, who doesn't, but who can really predict what direction they'll choose to go.  If we really want to hear something like DOTF or PK, then just pull those 2 albums out and listen all over again.  They've given us so much variety over all these years that it's inconceivable that whatever they put out will not be monumental.  I think that we're just all bummed it's coming to an end...but keep the faith!!!!!!

Same here.  I don't dislike Nostradamus - I think in some weird way it was the only logical step forward after AOR.  It shows a real sense of drama and mysticism, and in some ways a higher intellect.  I also think AOR has great music other than just Hellrider and Judas Is Rising - I really like Lochness and will admit to it without reservation.  When you look at their entire body of work you see the growth and changes in direction.  The only things I'm not interested in are the Ripper Years.  Without Rob it just ain't Priest for me.
