From what I can tell, the Patriots are sticking to the draft and other "young" choices. Junior Seau may or may not return, but with or without him, they need to start to find some youth before the old guys can't get it done anymore. Lisa had been looking for 4-5 months for a job. Frustrating is a most fitting word for that, as your wife knows all too well as well. Today's her first day, and here I sit at home on my day off. For the moment all's quiet. Jason probablly stayed up late playing Xbox, and I'm willing to bet Megan was up early this morning with Lisa. I told her to wake me if she did wake up, but Lisa was probably able to get her right back to sleep. Megan's not completely weened from the breast yet. However Lisa did manage to pump a couple ounces into a bottle for me to give her...so...I'm not sure.
Yes she's feeling great about the job. Especially since we both work at the same Dominos. That makes it easy for Jared (our store manager) to schedule us opposite hours like we require. We are parents who don't like babysitters, or even family members taking care of our kids. That's our responsibility, and healthier for the entire family structure. We simply wouldn't have it any other way.
Since Philip Daniels went down for the season, we definately needed Jason Taylor, and he was available. Maybe the Patriots had a salary cap issue. Dunno even if they went after him, or not. Taylor should be a great asset to our team...we'll see. Besides you, and I both know only two teams can go to this years Superbowl, and that means his only choices were the Skins, or Patriots! HA

I have to admit that it's been a very long time since anyone has issued a virus warning about me, but it's not necessarily unheard of . Don't know why, but I heard the site's had some issues recently. Very good to hear that things are looking up. It must be nice for Lisa to be out and about. It's always a good thing to feel productive and be contributing to the family. Don't sweat the private stuff. Until it's cleared up, put it on the boards. There isn't anything I would mind being public. Sounds like you are working hard, but are happy. That's all that counts. By the way . . . what the heck are the Redskins doing getting a hold on Jason Taylor ? I thought the Patriots had the market on collecting old defensive players !

Thank you Guido, Vail, and Joe! It's great to be back! I'll be entertaining Megan, and Jason, and of course they'll take up a lot of my time when I'm off. Lisa, and I both have Mondays, and Tuesdays off to allow time for each other as well. I may not be on as much as previously, but a little's better than none. So I'm in the middle of my "weekend". I am definately enjoying it, as I hadn't had two days off in a row for a few weeks.
Joe I appreciate your thinking of me, and it's certainly nice to be missed. I sure missed the majority of the people here, and I thought often of the many friends I have here.
It's also nice to see a hello from DF, and the great news that he'll be returning soon!
Tim, I tried to private message you, but recieved a virus warning. So, needless to say, until that's removed from the site, I won't be doing any of those. I was just going to let you know that I'm delivering for Dominos, and making pretty good money despite gas prices, and Lisa landed the Assistant manager job at the same store. It's going to work out great as she won't get to boss me around! We'll have opposite shifts! I'll actually get more time with her at home this way anyways. As it was, I only had 1 day off a week, and was dividing that amongst all three of them. There just wasn't enough of me to go around, and I was missing being home with just that little amount of time.
So...how's everyone been doing lately? I pray all's well with each of you. Ohhh by the way Nostradamus is great to jam to while deliviering pizzas!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited at: Sunday, August 10, 2008 11:37:28 PM |

Why? For one thing, you'll see the Metal Gods alot more closer (practically at their feet!!) than in PA. You get to meet them, AND Guitardude!!! Keep yourself in suspense until the Dallas gig. The more you wait, the more eager you'll be to see the band on the big day. The extra wait will pay off.

As previously posted, I have VIP for Dallas on Aug 22. However, I cashed in my free code for the only thing available / fit my timetable. PA. It is a week before and I am still sitting on the fence about it. Do I go to PA (probably alone) or not? Might ruin the novelty for the BIGGIE in Dallas, right? Were it AFTER the meet and greet, I think I'd go. After all, I have the time, gas and would do a surgical strike to avoid a big hotel bill. Drive in, drive as far as I can the following day to get home ASAP.
What do you all think? (ps. I might have a free lawn tix for PA up for grabs if anyone is interested! LOL!) |

Why? For one thing, you'll see the Metal Gods alot more closer (practically at their feet!!) than in PA. You get to meet them, AND Guitardude!!! Keep yourself in suspense until the Dallas gig. The more you wait, the more eager you'll be to see the band on the big day. The extra wait will pay off. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Up for a vote. Do I or don't I.
LOL!) |

LOL!) |

Hello!! Happy Tuesday everyone! Another cold winters day in Africa, spring is but weeks away (apparantly) No sign of our cold weather slacking off though. I've been having the most amazing time with some local metal bands. I'm so happy to say that our little underground metal scene in S.A. is thriving and starting to make some real progress. I hope that one day you guys can get an earful of some of our fantastic bands. Until then, you'll have to just take my humble word for it (lol). |

Friggin' guitar HAS a buzz in the low end and no one will believe me. Took it to a guy (hour away from my piss-ant city) who did nothing as I posted a while back. Damned if it doesn't still sound, though. Pissin' me off!
Other than that, good! Been floating in the pool most days. Like a sauna there. Road trip, my man!! |

HA!!!! Now she's got her own litter box?!? That would be fun to see, a dog burying her leavings in a litter box. Have fun with that!!
Actually, I have to head off for bed right now. Gotta get up at 6 AM!! Back to work for me!!!!
Goodnight, Guido!! See you soon!!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Wednesday, July 30, 2008 11:31:20 PM) | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Oh I could only imagine you! LOL!!
Yeah, they are still around and EXACTLY as described. Little friggin' pooper got a kitty litter box today. She just doesn't seem to learn. Either that or she is just trying to piss me off (no pun intended) on purpose!! Calvin is snoozin' at my feet as usual. I fully expect him freaked out around 3am. Storm time so they say. | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Oh, heck yes!!!! I was actually giggling a bit during the quake, especially as I saw a nearby streelight moving side to side. Its the first major quake in years, so that was exciting.
So, Calvin the Shoe-Muncher and Nina the Pooper are still around? Haven't heard a peep about them in quite a while. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Really? That strong, eh? Bet you were actually happy, eh Ms. Natural Disaster?!
Speaking of which, seems like we have yet another storm blowing down on us. Of course, it is supposed to hit during the night. Last one had poor Calvin almost jumping out of his fur. He HATES storms. Nina, on the other hand, doesn't seem to mind. | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | Really?
