Pretty shitty of K.K to pop up with this horse shit 10 days before the Firepower album is released? And with his book coming out this year? Notice he mentioned he made the right decision to retire cause nobody appreciates him.... why would Rob and Glenn call him and ask him anyways? He's already bitching how Ritchie is a clone of himself
(I can see why cause Jane is the one who wants it to look visually this way as nothing has changed from a glance which I disagree on...I thought Ritchie looks too close to Kks image and thought he should not have the leather vest and flying V but he was told too)
Makes me think he would be a dick to Ritchie anyways. What a punch in the face to Glenn....I'll bet he claims Glenn's playing was getting shitty cause of Parkinson's disease yet we all saw Glenn live...so has Eddie Trunk multiple times and he said Glenn sounded fine. The Battle Cry DVD 2015 he was excellent.
Idk I just think it's a low blow by K.K to air their dirty laundry in front of us fans 10 days before we are getting a new album.

Could be right, JD. I still think it would have been cool to have asked him. Pipe dream, of course. After all, who knows the dynamics of the band really?
Selfish. I would have loved seeing KK with Priest again!
Blabbermouth.com has K.K. Downing saying he is "shocked and stunned" he wasn't asked to join the band to step in for his role.... and says because he wasn't asked proves he was unappreciated?
He has a book coming out this year.... I wonder if this is just to throw dirty laundry out as a efff you to Rob and Glenn. I personally am grabbing at straws but I think he wanted to be asked for the simple satisfaction of saying "NO".

Traitor's Gate sounds fantastic, too! You know, I think the boys are pouring every drop of creative juice they've got into this album. After all, this may well be their last with Glenn being an active member of the band. We should seriously be hearing a shitload of true "firepower" from every song in this album. Won't be long now!
Vail there's another samplw clip on youtube "Traitors's Gate" which sounds fuckin incredible. Shit ... this could be equal to any Classic Priest album as their best? Idk.... I predict EVERY song on the album is going to be kick ass!

Well... I didn't think I could watch a Priest show without Glenn but I just couldn't" not go" ...how selfish of ME I thought. I let my emotions cloud my thinking. Now that I have my tickets I fucking can't wait to see the band! Another thing to think about is that Rob said Glenn CAN still PLAY the guitar just not live. So perhaps he can still write and record the next Judas Priest studio album? You never know... if he records solos of his now and record his riffs right now for a next L P the band could record theirs 2 years from now and we'd have Glenn on the album. THAT wouldbe awsome, however if FIREPOWER is the last album THAT is ok too... it's just awesome that there is a new Judas Priest album going to be released in a little over 3 weeks.

I hereby judge you: eloquent! VERY well-said. You manage to put into words what I certainly think.
The man said that he wished Priest to continue with the tour? I feel privileged to be able to attend.
At the risk of getting judged by all the "veterans" here, I'll say my piece regarding Glenn's (not so) recent diagnosis.
My heart sank upon reading the news Monday morning, Then it really hit me earlier today. Parkinson's? Damn. That's fucked up. Terrible disease. Reading that article about the moment when Glenn realized that he couldn't perform anymore, and having to admit it, nearly brought me to tears. It's amazing, though, that despite the diagnosis, Glenn kept playing live and cranking out a couple of great albums for the past 10 YEARS, and in all the tours in which I had seen him w/ JP in the past decade, he NEVER slowed down. He NEVER faltered. He gave 110% onstage, and you could tell that his heart was in the music, in the band, and in his fans. It's practically mindblowing. Shit. He is a TRUE Metal God.
Glenn, you are amazing. As if the music you created w/ JP over the past 4 decades and your influence in the genre weren't enough, you powered through with this illness for as long as you could so that we may enjoy as much Judas Priest-style Heavy Metal with you as possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am simply not worthy.

Yeah, I saw your last post. SCREW that! I am with those saying: mail the tix to ME!!! Man, if I didn't have the silly thing called "work," I'd be following them for the last big HURRAH!!! Sad to have to think in these terms but those whiners can just shut the hell up! Glenn et al have given me a LIFETIME of 100%? Yeah, I think I can blow out my vocal chords at least once more for the mighty PRIEST!
As Acolyte- @JD,Guido,HB, Vail et al, I, as well as HB don't have a date near us yet And we are actively trying to go, little let down people are angry and not going to go when there are lots who would love to go! And yes we should all go because I now believe this is it, if Firepower is a great success then call it an amazing career!!!!
