Guido! What a hansome fellow!
My sister in-law is a bird breeder. Mostly cockatiels and big budgies lol.. They're like regular budgies but a lot bigger. She does the regular ones too. Among some more exotic ones.
She also takes in any abused and abadoned birds. She had a problem with a one legged bird and he got around pretty well for his circumstances.
Fred is a lucky guy to set up home with an all round animal lover like yourself! Then it hits me, with a family member coming down from Michigan to spend Thanksgiving, why not try to get another rescue bird from the same place as my longest feathered companion? An email and a couple of phone calls and it was a done deal. My friends, meet Fred! It is scary as he looks so similar to Kiko. He is about a year old and suffers from a couple of problems. Apparently his mother chewed off all but one of his toes on one foot (pictured) and either she or a dumb previous owner cut his flight feathers too short and they'll never grow back. Still, he whistles like crazy and is really funny when he tries to talk. He came with the name "Fred" and I see no reason to change it. (Drumroll please) Voila ici! FRED!

Hey, thanks again for all those kind words, folks. Anyone who knows me knows how much I care for animals. All the animals in my home are adopted and I support my local humane society both economically and in action. Losing this companion of some five years was a tough and unexpected loss. Don't mean to clog the thread but I did want to express my appreciation to all those who posted here recently. As I said before, it really means a lot. (Metalhead, you got it right...we ARE family here).
Today I spent a good deal of time making calls and writing emails. With a relative coming in from Michigan for the holidays, I hope to have a new companion to share with you all soon. Until then, much metal love. |

You know, one would think you would learn your lesson after the first 3 times your account got banned from here, but sadly, it seems that you're up to the same old foolishness you were up to before. It's because of numbskulls like you that even the band or their manager come on here anymore.
Furthermore, the lack of compassion and decency for your fellow man is utterly despicable. Maybe if you tried acting civilized, you would get along with the rest of us and not be an embarrassment to yourself. Do you wonder sometimes how things like this get into the human species? I think the best to do in this situation is totally ignore sensless, cruel posts such as that one. I sense Big Jack is none other than our very own Metal God/Electric Eye piece of excrement. If not, he comes from the same fold as that thing.
Guido, I am so sorry for your loss. My beloved Mastif died in my arms five years ago and words cannot describe the emotions that run through you at a time like that. Self pity, however, is not one of them at all. Please ignore this character and know that your true metal family are sharing your pain with you.
