Guido...Boneyard is still there.  For Sirius users like myself and HB, it's on channel 19.  AC/DC radio took it over though until January.  So, we're relegated to Hair Nation and Liquid Metal.  In the meantime, no Sunday Sabbath (11am on Sunday, no Van Hailstorm (7pm daily), and I have to filter through the gurgling screamfest of Liquid Metal to hear Priest, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Metallica and Motorhead.  Needless to say, my cd player is getting a workout!

After work last night..............

ASSistant manager strikes again... He got involved in an arguement between the Store Manager and I that had nothing to do with him. I had to use all my mental strength not to crack him over he head with the broomstick I had in my hand. After accusing me of not working, he then tells me that if i don't like it i can go... yes i will be quiting but at the end of the week. I know the store needs me, and i won't let my store manager down, that's just how I am (I actually give a s*it about my co-workers). But as soon as he takes over on Monday i'm outta there... watch the store go down the drain because i put in so many hours and no-one is there to replace me.... hhahaha vengeance will be mine.  I had to vent that..... I am so fed up with the beaurocracy in that place
Drinks all round on Saturday night after I throw in the towel

well, I would chose vista, that way the thing would stay in the driveway.  asking your car to play sinner, that rocks though.  think I should be asleep now.  later.

As a Mac user (who runs Windows on this and five other personal machines as of last count), I shudder at the thought. "Car....ON!" = Blue screen of death, drives into a ditch with an "exception in dll XLP00020234" error - Do you want to send Microsoft a report? - flashing on the dashboard as they pull your carcass from the wreckage.

See? You are the recipient of all automotive questions. Who knows, I wouldn't be surprised that a car HAD a USB port (personally, I'd go firewire) but I am a Detroit kid. Gotta pose all my auto quandaries to someone. You da' man!

sure on the car, what you think there is one on this antique?  actualy, the computer is not that old.  microsoft sync, hit the button, ask it what track, album or artist to play.
sensor is usualy mounted under the front bumper in front of the grill.  the wind chill I am told isnt factored in, just as with your thermometer hanging outside it doesnt change when teh wind kicks up.  you need either a hot wire (like in a mass air sensor on a car) or add water to the equation.  not exactly sure on how it works, I know that it does.

USB port on what? The car?!

Say, I had another one of those "pondering" questions for you. Came when driving by a local sign showing the temperature and looking down to catch the temp my car was reading outside. Where do they mount the sensor and how does it account for wind chill when the car is in motion? Inquiring minds want to know!

You know, with the merger of XM and Sirius I notice one big difference. Not that it really "pisses me off" as such but there is no more "Boneyard" as far as I can tell. Don't think I'll get Eddie Trunk (liked the Monday interviews), HATE the damn "Hair Nation" moniker that has not taken over station 41 (although the music was really good and I even had a "stay in the car in the driveway" moment tonight when Locked In came on) but what I miss most of all? Some fine lass saying "Bone me!" as a filler / advert for the Boneyard between songs! HAAAA!!!!

I like to think of the overabundance of Nostra threads as a good thing. It's been four months since the album was released and there are still Priest fans talking about it and giving their opinions about it (good and bad). Plus some of the threads have been started by members who wanted to give their own independent view of the album, views which shouldn't be restricted, since this is Judas Priest's official website. And don't go blaming any of the new members have have started the Nostra-related threads. They're confined enough as it is, with all the Respect Points and being limited to the intro. category and whatnot. Still freaked out? Then simply don't read them all! They'll all eventually go away...maybe in a year or three.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Thursday, November 13, 2008 7:59:16 AM)

What the Hell?????? Man i think we're going to break a record here with the number of Nostra threads.. GOD! I don't even post in them. Perhaps their should be a rule that no newbies can start threads. ??

Sorry to hear that DC.  But since it's probably for the better (your sanity), think of it as a positive change in your life.

This is pissing me off..... Everything at work is being changed around in the next 2 weeks, my favourite manager and close friend is being moved to another shop so now the douchebag assistant manager will be running the store... (The one i almost cracked over the head with a computer chair.... yes that's right) .. He drives me insane with his double standards. I hate when my secure surroudings are upset by some numbskull.. Now half of the staff that i love working with are either moving to the other store or have quit.
So now i'm facing the prospect of finding a new job... which i will say is a welcome change but i wasn't really ready for such a change this close to my birthday and xmas / new years.. I guess i'll just have to suck it up.
