lol HRMG.. I agree on your ideas of the common sense shot.. It seems to be something that would come in more useful than a flu shot lol.

HB.. I would so love to read through some of those reports.. I can only imagine half the stupidity some get up to.. What's really pissing me off now is that this woman calls me in tears telling me she doesn't have any insurance but she'll say her father in law was driving before he is covered as a driver in that vehicle... Hang on here a min.. Aint that like.. what's the word I'm looking for... ILLEGAL????
And not that I know much about er.. legalities but aren't insurance companies and police and er.. general law very, very against.. falsified reports and that kind of thing???

I don't know this woman from a freaking asteroid shower and she wants me to enter some illegal fecking arrangement with her whole family?? I don't think so...
I'm starting to think that this woman doesn't have a drivers license.

1. Metallica (waayyy too overrated)
2.Rap music (what else do i need to say)
3.those kids who are obsessed with vido games such as guitar hero and call of duty, i mean come on, do something outside or learn to play a real instrument fr god sake.

OMFG!!! Gee, I don't know, maybe you didn't give him another car because he might KILL someone the next time???  I often wish there was a shot that you could give people to give them COMMON SENSE!! I swear I'd go around giving people these shots all day long!

Sorry to hear about the accident Joe. I'm glad you weren't hurt and no one else was in the car. I hope there wasn't too much damage. But it's still incredibly inconvenient to have to take your car in to get fixed. She probably didn't even have that much damage, did she? Seems like the stupid people always get off easy.
I like to read the stupid criminals reports, like the guy who broke into a place and couldn't get out and had to call 911 Reading those makes me laugh so hard I cry!

wow, got to like dumb people.  when I get a free moment at work I like to read the accident reports (work for a car rental co).  man there are some dumb people.

I got a phone call once from the police in Banff, we had a renter stoped at a level crossing, waiting for a train.  another car, also ours stops behind.  third car, also ours stops.  then suddenly for some reason this guy hammers on the gas, pushes car 2 into car 1.  WTF..  luckily no one was hurt, and the car didnt get pushed into the train.  then the guy was pissed that I wouldnt get him another car.

Some stupid woman was driving behind me today and when I came to a yeild sign, just about to enter a slipstream, she just rams her car into the back of mine... I mean really folks.. how hard is it to remember that following distance is there for a reason? I am so beyond tired of people driving like total idiots. What gives them the right? It seems that there are more and more bad drivers on the roads these days. I look after my car, am an extremely observant driver and respect and obey rules of the road. I respect that I need to take responsibility for my life as well as those fellow road users. The only reason this whole thing happened was because this woman was not paying attention and had her car pretty much as close to my back wheel she could possibly have it. I'm furious. Thankfully, my kids were not in the car. The car is damaged again. This is the second.. no I correct myself, third time that some idiot has caused damage to my car. How on earth do you just drive straight into the back of someoene's car?? STUPIDITY that's how!

Don't look like it now, but I've ran my share of 10 mile runs in the Marines (some 20 odd years ago)...lol...bananas and water are essential for the body...

This is actually the first time my calf cramped up...usually my left back thigh cramps up. I remember having those cramps and lying in bed in agony for a few minutes. Next thing I know I'm massaging my whole leg at 2 in the morning and praying for the pain to go away. I didn't think it was from low Potassium levels, though. Still, it SUCKS!!!!!!

Just bought my bananas and a new gallon of milk, so hopefully all will be well soon. Thanks for the tips, my friends!

When I don't get enough calcium for a while, my calf cramps up and I wake up screaming! Are you getting enough dairy products? When it happens to me, I make sure I drink my milk and all is better again.

Use these tips to help prevent nighttime leg cramps:

  • Drink plenty of water and other fluids during the day.
  • Limit or avoid drinks with alcohol or caffeine. These can make you dehydrated, which means your body has lost too much fluid.
  • Make sure you are eating healthy foods (especially if you are pregnant) that are rich in calcium, potassium, and magnesium.
  • Ride a stationary bike to condition and stretch your muscles.
  • Stretch your leg muscles for a few minutes before you go to bed.
Hope it doesn't happen again - I KNOW how much it HURTS!!   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Sunday, May 31, 2009 12:50:09 PM)

If bananas don't solve the problem is few days see a Dr. and have a blood panel drawn so they can ssee just how depleted you potassium levles are, you may need to take potassium pills for a bit to restore your levels.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Sunday, May 31, 2009 12:50:09 PM)

Thanks, Ron. That's what a friend of mine advised me later that day. Now that I have a second similar answer, I guess I'll head to the supermarket and buy myself a bunch.

I had a rude awakening yesterday morning...my left leg cramped up while I was sleeping and it hurt like hell!!

Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened... I hope they go away permanently. One day, perhaps...
