This story has made national news and is all over the net. The reason I mention it is because they played for Steubenville Big Red. I've been going to "Big Red" games (200+) since 1987. I always thought they ran a stellar  program up there and very much looked forward to fall friday nights. That all came crashing down with this trial and now I may never go back to one of their games. The coach up there was so well respected that they named the field after him. Now I saw trial transcripts where some of the kids texted each other about how "coach" Reno joked about it and said "Don't worry, It's been taken care of". Talk about disheartening. Man, something I loved doing for over twenty five years and now maybe never again. Now that I think this is a mindset up there and a way of  culture among them the only way I could go again is if they scrap everything, clear the coaching staff and start again. Unfortunately in Steubenville Ohio I can't see this happening. Hopefully the trial will force the superintendent to make changes. We'll see.
