Hellrider....I too am wishing the band will make a kick ass album!!! Nostradamus is epic and is a great piece of work even though you and I don't care for the majority of it,it still is a well put together album its just that Priest left behind us metal-headed-rivit brained metal maniacs that crave a regular heavy metal masterpiece.
And to speak for myself and not you....for me,Motorhead's new album,brand new Pentagram and brand new Saxon to look forward to I am craving my favorite band of all time to release an album that can rank alongside Painkiller,Angel of Retribution,Defenders Of The Faith,Screaming For Vengeance and British Steel...
These to me are Priest's 5 heaviest albums in thier career and it would be nice to hear something new from Judas Priest! Every other band has a release except for our Priest and its getting me impatient,I'm craving the heavy metal masters to prove to all the world thier brand of heavy metal rules the fucking world!!

Defenders has 3 lame tracks on it for me...Rock Hard Ride Free (I fucking hate this song) Eat Me Alive and Night Comes Down. Those 3 tracks to me are weak. Yes Eat Me Alive spanks of "CHEESE". Retribution has 4 songs that are weak links,Revolution,Worth Fighting For,Angel and Lochness,however I'd take "Worth Fighting For" over Rock Hard Ride Free any day. But thats just my personal opinon of course.
For me ...Judas Rising,Deal With the Devil,Demonizer,Wheels Of Fire,Eulegy and Hellrider all 6 songs reek of classic quality Judas Priest material. Even "Angel" is better than Defenders "Night Comes Down" which has irritated me all these years......jeeze....I still think your wacked about Hellrider being the only track worthy from Retribution,but to each his own.
I'll admit the Defenders Of The Faith is a little bit better than Angel Of Retribution so is Screaming For Vengeance but Angel Of Retribution isn't all that far off in quality.
Another Painkiller album isn't going to happen though,I don't want it to happen either to tell you the truth,there is more to Judas Priest than "Painkiller" like Ripley says......belive it or not.

Retribution has 4 songs that are weak links,Revolution,Worth Fighting For,Angel and Lochness,however I'd take "Worth Fighting For" over Rock Hard Ride Free any day. But thats just my personal opinon of course.
For me ...Judas Rising,Deal With the Devil,Demonizer,Wheels Of Fire,Eulegy and Hellrider all 6 songs reek of classic quality Judas Priest material. Even "Angel" is better than Defenders "Night Comes Down" which has irritated me all these years......jeeze....I still think your wacked about Hellrider being the only track worthy from Retribution,but to each his own.
I'll admit the Defenders Of The Faith is a little bit better than Angel Of Retribution so is Screaming For Vengeance but Angel Of Retribution isn't all that far off in quality.
Another Painkiller album isn't going to happen though,I don't want it to happen either to tell you the truth,there is more to Judas Priest than "Painkiller" like Ripley says......belive it or not.

I am itching for some Judas Priest styled heavy metal that is brand new and for me personally the new album doesn't need a Painkiller matched style in intensity,if the band cranked out british heavy metal like in the vien and style 5 of the tracks on Angel Of Retribution...Judas Rising,Deal With The Devil,Demonizer,Wheels Of Fire or Hellrider I would be happy cellebrating the last album from Judas Priest with a smile....

Defenders has 3 lame tracks on it for me...Rock Hard Ride Free (I fucking hate this song) Eat Me Alive and Night Comes Down. Those 3 tracks to me are weak. Yes Eat Me Alive spanks of "CHEESE". Retribution has 4 songs that are weak links,Revolution,Worth Fighting For,Angel and Lochness,however I'd take "Worth Fighting For" over Rock Hard Ride Free any day. But thats just my personal opinon of course.
For me ...Judas Rising,Deal With the Devil,Demonizer,Wheels Of Fire,Eulegy and Hellrider all 6 songs reek of classic quality Judas Priest material. Even "Angel" is better than Defenders "Night Comes Down" which has irritated me all these years......jeeze....I still think your wacked about Hellrider being the only track worthy from Retribution,but to each his own.
I'll admit the Defenders Of The Faith is a little bit better than Angel Of Retribution so is Screaming For Vengeance but Angel Of Retribution isn't all that far off in quality.
Another Painkiller album isn't going to happen though,I don't want it to happen either to tell you the truth,there is more to Judas Priest than "Painkiller" like Ripley says......belive it or not.

Ok....I'll admit "they could" create another album like Painkiller if they wanted to yes in thier sleep but I can't fathom "why" they would all of a sudden think about "Painkiller" from 1990 and re-create the same intensity? I mean if they were going to "crank out another Painkiller" don't you think they would of done it when Rob came back in 2003 and released it in 2005 instead of A.O.R.? Wouldn't they of done it in 2008 instead of Nostradamus?
And now by the time another LP is released it will be 2012 possibly 2013 which I am 100% sold on the fact that the next LP(If there is even going to be another LP) will be the last Judas Priest studio album because of how fucking "LONG" it takes this band to actually release a fucking album. If they made another one after this next album it would be 2018 or some shit like that,Glenn would be 70 years old!!
If I am wrong,and the band actually does match Painkiller song for song in the intensity and heaviness and obviously quality then I'll be the first one to admit I was wrong no problem. But I'm pretty confident that the next LP will not be this heavy monster like Painkiller,it just doesn't add up.
K.K. of all band members is the one who thought up Nostradamus and is the one musically who had the most influence on the album,and he is the Leader of this band,not Rob and Glenn...what Ken says goes,and I can't fathom him dating back to Painkiller while I can fathom him going for a Screaming For Vengeance type of an album but I'll also admit this is just my opinion and definately not fact,so again I'll definately admit I was wrong if they do another "Painkiller"...hell I'll create a thread about me being wrong and you can dog me for the whole year on it...(lol!) Defenders has 3 lame tracks on it for me...Rock Hard Ride Free (I fucking hate this song) Eat Me Alive and Night Comes Down. Those 3 tracks to me are weak. Yes Eat Me Alive spanks of "CHEESE". Retribution has 4 songs that are weak links,Revolution,Worth Fighting For,Angel and Lochness,however I'd take "Worth Fighting For" over Rock Hard Ride Free any day. But thats just my personal opinon of course.
For me ...Judas Rising,Deal With the Devil,Demonizer,Wheels Of Fire,Eulegy and Hellrider all 6 songs reek of classic quality Judas Priest material. Even "Angel" is better than Defenders "Night Comes Down" which has irritated me all these years......jeeze....I still think your wacked about Hellrider being the only track worthy from Retribution,but to each his own.
I'll admit the Defenders Of The Faith is a little bit better than Angel Of Retribution so is Screaming For Vengeance but Angel Of Retribution isn't all that far off in quality.
Another Painkiller album isn't going to happen though,I don't want it to happen either to tell you the truth,there is more to Judas Priest than "Painkiller" like Ripley says......belive it or not.
