Funny thing about the lyrics provided in the album jacket (at the least the one I have) is that they stop with Trail of Tears. There's none for She and Fugitive.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Saturday, September 19, 2009 11:07:33 PM)

Got a call from an old friend / singer of mine from Toronto.  Plan to get together, barbeque some meat and talk old times.  Haven't seen him since '88.  Damn near all of my best life stories involve this S.O.B. some how.  Can't wait !
[spapad] Saturday, September 19, 2009 9:32:41 PM

Really, you made it public. not me. I find this all distastefull, as I am your friend and this is the way it goes.
Last I will say in public about this, last I hope to hear about this and the point is POINTLESS, as far as I'm concerned. Agree or not.

And I don't talk about it with others 'Cause that's just a business
between you n me!!

I dont like to talk about things like this on the board. You are my friend, and always will be until you change your mind.
I will not, speak of such things here as I do not want to berate your friend, you, or myself.
There is no reason for it.

Like there's nuffin' happend before?? I have told you it's your decision n I respect it. But with your decision you have start to kill our friendship.

[Bev] Thursday, September 17, 2009 6:29:59 AM
My thoughts exactly Joe!  'must have been a reason the window got busted in the first place and that they nicked the trash bag - lol (thought it could have been someone's girlfriend or a lady I helped put away for a couple of years for stealing from a parent group; but when I discovered what was missing, I knew it was random)  Still funny as hell!

Yeah, HB, it was a couple days with used tissues, bandages, a soda can, gum, you know, all the things that make a trash bag smell like a trash bag.  Alas, no banana peals or peach pits ... not even an apple core.
[Head banger] Wednesday, September 16, 2009 4:52:15 PM

Lol Bev.. How does that old proverb go? 'You shall reap what you shall sow" So therefore trash get away with a nice big ol' bag o' trash lol.

No matter how low down you are in life there is no need to steal. I would have loved to have been a fly in the trash bag as they opened it up, must've been really funny for anyone passing them at that point in time to see the priceless look on their faces.

[Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Bev from Wednesday, September 16, 2009 7:55:07 AM)
[Bev] Wednesday, September 16, 2009 7:55:07 AM
Sunday, while I was sitting down a slight bluff near the bay (out of view of my Jeep) someone busted the passenger side window.  I didn't notice until I was approaching 3 / 4 hours later.  As I approached it looked like I may have left the window open - not good as I had left my wallet just inside in the console
Fortunately for me it is black and blended well enough for anyone in a hurry to overlook.  Still, stupid move on my part.  After some inspection nothing appeared to be missing, the contents of the glove box weren't even touched, hmmm?

Last evening, driving to pick up some dinner, I reached to toss some trash into the cheetah print trash pouch that used to dangle from the gear shift ... it wasn't there?!?! (one of those things you don't notice 'til it's gone 'cause it's of little importance)  Can you imagine the look on the idiots' faces when they got further away and decided to check the contents of their heist?!

Good for you on the new ipod, IMP!! Nothing better than a happy ending.

I remember the CD walkman days as well...listening to my lone CD while looking at all the kids listening to ipods, wondering, "How the heck can that little thing contain so much music?" (the power of technology, right?). Unfortunately, so far I haven't found any love in listening to music with those tiny earbud headphones (especially the ones that came with my e-matic...they fall off my ears too easily). MUCH prefer the big headphones that cover the whole ear. It's either good, full sound or no sound at all, dangit!! Right now I'm using the headphones that came with my CD player. Ahhhh...comfort!

Oh! And just call me Vail. Nice to meet ya, fellow SoCaler (I'm originally from LA county)!!   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by I.M.P. from Monday, September 07, 2009 1:28:13 PM)

They are quite awesome.

I remember way back when I used to trek, or bike to school everyday with a single CD in my CD player.  Not anymore!  Listen to 9 hours of music a day thanks to my iPod.  Amazing how much can fit in such a little package.

Speaking of which, what's making me super happy?  My iPod which decided to go EMPTY all of a sudden, losing every damn song...was replaced free of charge by the dudes at Apple Store.  I am forever a loyal customer.  Apparently there was a hard drive error that wasn't fixable.  No hassle, no paperwork, no BS.  Just, "It's broke and we can't fix it.  So, here ya go!"  It was that freaking easy.  Had warranty on file and everything-which is awesome, cos I lost mine, lol!

For everyone getting an mp3 player, I'd recommend a case.  The screen gets scratched the second it's out of the box.  Worth while investment, especially if you plan on viewing photos or videos.

By the way, for the mp3 player- $30 bucks?!  Incredible!  That's less than the price of two CDs!!!  Way to go Vaillant!

HAAA!!! I KNOW your city. It is ten minutes to the north. Right on the KY, TN border (north nowhere and south nowhere). Only reason the KY side (north nowhere) is doing a bit better is that we live in a dry county! LOL!! Have to drive there for a bottle of wine or any liquor.

Were they ever to legalize it here, they and all their cheap motels would all disappear. Rumor has it that they pay the churches here to always vote down legalizing "to go" stores here. Incredible to me as we have bars (don't ever GO to them as they are dives) but it almost seems that they want to encourage drinking and driving here. Tickets probably for half our city's income.

Oh yeah...and sleep well! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by spapad from Thursday, September 03, 2009 10:17:09 PM)

Well, Im off to bed in rural America where the life does not change much over twenty years and the world does. LOL
Like I told you one time. The City of Bluefield was once a mighty "mini" New York with towering buildings and all, and now it's a city in it's death throws. Buildings literally falling down into the streets. Two in the past two years. Gone is the the WV side of Bluefield and the other side is doing better but not likely to amount to much. Funny part is the Blfd. VA side, used to be called Graham and changed the name of the town to suit the booming Bluefield WV of the day. At it's peek, 50,000 people lived in that town. No where near that now.

Seriously, I get sad when I am not expecting something I bought on the internet (like now). Best part of the day is getting the mail. Hey, it has its benefits too, though. If you recall, I had the UPS guy hold my copy of Nostra at his house and he drove it over at night when I got back from that vacation. A Target? Ha, we should be so lucky! Would have to drive to Beckly 45 mins. away to get so lucky!

Wow, your dinning sucks almost as much as here, but we do have decent Steak houses but it's very rare to have a good non chain restuarant, that has ACTUAL good food!  We have two. An Italian Bar and grill, and a Jamacian Seafood place. That's it! Everyting else it same old same old!
As for Radio Shack that is the only place outside of wally world and Staples to go. LOL

Actually, we DO have a Radio Shack. However, any tech nerd worth his salt doesn't hang out there. Wallyworld is actually cheaper and better. Our Radio Shack is also our UPS shipping place. LOL!!

Also have all the fast food you could want. Taco Bell, McDs, Pizza Hut, three mexican and like three chinese buffets. There IS an Applebees in the big city 15 minutes down the road but I don't go to any of the above (save for the Mexican places) very often.

Did I mention that we have lots of cows, though? Goats too!

It does play videos (according to the packet), but I'll have to try it out to see if that feature really works.

(Don't worry...I also hang out at the electronics dept. in Wallymart...and in Target, too!)   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Thursday, September 03, 2009 9:36:32 PM)

Not even a Radio Shack? Poor you, and I thought I had it bad! LOL
We don't even have a Taco Bell in Bluefield, and I was mad about that, but now I concede, you have less.
Do you have Applebees?, and all those chain resturants like that and steakhouses, do you at least have a decent place to eat? Well, not that they are decent but they are better than Micky Dees.

An E-Matic mp3 player. It has about 2 GB and it cost me about $30. More than enough for my small collection of music.

This may not top the happy notes made below about the bootleg audio from the JP concert in Hollywood, FL...but I'll say it anyway.

Today I made the biggest electronic leap ever since I got this laptop almost three years ago: I bought an mp3 player!! From Wallymart, no less!!! It may not be an ipod, but it does the job very nicely!! I put in the AOR album and listened to it while cooking. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I can take my music anywhere!!!!
[spapad] Thursday, September 03, 2009 8:45:07 PM
Only thing that could have made it better, was to be there! But, I shall be preordering that to show up the day it's released!
CANT WAIT!!!

I kid you not...it has ME friggin' DYING to buy it now!! Rob throws such energy into Rapid Fire that is hard to describe. You know he must have been hurting as well being day three in a row at nearly the end of the tour.

Welll....crap! What luck to have gotten it. I was just about to post a big "thanks" to the person that shared it only to find that it had already been pulled. Woo hoo!! Best back this thing up right now!

I must say that, while I'll have to give it a few more listens to have more comments, when he belts out the high note in Victim, while perhaps not the cleanest, he must have dropped to his knees holding it so long! Amazing!

Rumors are all over the place about that concert being this or that but, man, I say the boys did themselves PROUD. Having heard quite a few concerts, you can tell that this one was an "all out" effort. Even the guitars had extra runs / licks that they usually don't throw into songs. Even the friggin' sing along at the end had some new twists from any of the concerts I heard on this tour (live or otherwise). Like I said, now I just can't wait to BUY this thing. Two guido thumbs up!!

This here beauty is what's making me super-duper happy!!!

Don't laugh at me but it's the only bike I could get that I could drive straight off the showroom floor. I had my heart set on a Honday XR250 Tornado but after nearly a month of begging the guys at the dealership just couldn't come up with a way to lower it for me (yes, I am vertically challenged lol) The guy at BMW said that this bike was very popular amongst the ladies due to its height.. It's the biggest engine I've ever ridden so it still feels a bit heavy but I'm in love! lol As you can see first thing I did when I got it was take it off road lol.

Thanks Joedraper!!  I appreciate that alot........yeah Victoria doesn't drink that often but she knows she can whenever she wants to...and have fun "with" me being sober..ect...

I think the real satisfaction is when.....when she does drink the night before and wakes up the next morning with a narly hangover...I jump in the shower and start the day

with a spring in my step!!! lol!!  And she looks at me saying..."why in the hell did I do this last night"??!! lol!!  So yeah its been rather easy for me suprisingly!!!

And thank you as well Sulivan Titwillow...haven't seen you around lately...nice to see you....and I agree...some people are proud of thier drinking problems.....

I guess it is obviously up to the individual ...but I'm with ya on that for sure.....it kinda sounds funny that they are proud of thier drinking problems.....lol!
