For that kind of cash, I would expect a few more options. As far as the Speedloader is concerned, they can keep it.... |

Red with the maple fingerboard, I think I`d like to try the scallops!! |

I like the red one. Preferably non-scalloped as I might break a string or five. I'll take ebony, I like the dark wood color...
And I'll keep K.K's logo, 'cause it looks cool!!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Sunday, February 08, 2009 10:55:28 AM) | | guidogodoy wrote: | | Ahhhhh, that is new. On KK's site there was even an article explaining how he had his luthier move the knob from the back to the front after a couple of tries with it in back.
So, that aside, what color? Ebony or maple? Scalloped or not? Come on you (NON) guitar gurus! What options would you choose? (Quoting Message by SDBinNY from Sunday, February 08, 2009 7:05:32 AM)

Did you read the page or just look at the picture? They clearly state that the volume pot was left off so KK could put it where he wanted it and the new ones will ship with the pot installed where KK put it.
Personally, I don't care for the push/pull pot for switching, and would go without the inlays... |

Ok, who let this thread drop so far?!?
KxK guitar. Being sold with a limited number of configurations. First, red or white? Hmmm.... then come the real questions: what type of fingerboard? Scalloped and logo, no brainers. Only wish they had the option of putting that volume knob in its God given place, in front! Still, come on guitar gurus, what do you all think? I would tend towards matching exactly what KK had last tour (white..but what neck that??). Thoughts?

i like those columns especially michel angelo Batio's. Dave mustaine and Eric Peterson had some insightful columns as well. Those columns are basically the only real lessons i get nowadays. I also have great respect for Paul Gilbert i LOVE the Racer X stuff. I can tell you that I saw Jennifer doing "Flight" on a daily basis in 1986 @ M.I. during group lessons. She had obviously been doing it for quite a while at that point to be able to perform it at that level. The dexterety is impressive, but Bumble is chromatic, and becomes rather mechanical after a while. I can't help but wonder how fried his tendons will be in 5 or 10 years.... |

From Jennifer's site:
Jennifer has authored two music books and ihas just released her third solo CD/DVD entitled “Whatever”. With this 3rd effort, she’s ventured into electronica, vocal samples, and film. She’s supporting this release with a multimedia one woman show, playing guitar in synch with films projected onto a giant screen. The companion DVD includes over 90 min of art films, previously unreleased music videos, interviews, commentary, and an innovative guitar lesson.
And as a correction of my previous statement, she is now a Washburn endorsee.....
