Guido! What a hansome fellow!
My sister in-law is a bird breeder. Mostly cockatiels and big budgies lol.. They're like regular budgies but a lot bigger. She does the regular ones too. Among some more exotic ones.
She also takes in any abused and abadoned birds. She had a problem with a one legged bird and he got around pretty well for his circumstances.
Fred is a lucky guy to set up home with an all round animal lover like yourself! Then it hits me, with a family member coming down from Michigan to spend Thanksgiving, why not try to get another rescue bird from the same place as my longest feathered companion? An email and a couple of phone calls and it was a done deal. My friends, meet Fred! It is scary as he looks so similar to Kiko. He is about a year old and suffers from a couple of problems. Apparently his mother chewed off all but one of his toes on one foot (pictured) and either she or a dumb previous owner cut his flight feathers too short and they'll never grow back. Still, he whistles like crazy and is really funny when he tries to talk. He came with the name "Fred" and I see no reason to change it. (Drumroll please) Voila ici! FRED!

That is a cool tree. My cat seems to love rubbing all of his fur all over my blinds. Maybe I should get him a tree like that.
