I used to sprint quite alot when I was in Ultimate Frisbee last year...had to run down a flying frisbee, you know...

...and I can climb a chain-link fence...does that count?

Thanks, MG. And all I did was drink beer and swear at my TV! Seemed to have worked.

I am really thrilled about having MSU playing in Detroit even if they don't win. LOVE them to take it all, mind you but the final four in their home town is classic.

Personally, I sprint when chased.

You've never seen someone jump a cyclone fence like me! HAAAA!!!

Happy Sunday, everyone!! Guido, congrats on MSU's win.

On the topic of running, I'm more of a jogger. I can sprint, but not fast enough to save my life.

CONGRATS TO GUIDO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Eve everyone..

I wish I could run I hurt my knee when I was 16 I was thrown off a horse.. So it goes out, and it does this when I least expect it.  I was carrying a load of laundry down to our basement once in MN and it went out. I went down 3 steps, lucky I wasnt at the top of the steps..  I hate it... I go for long walks and work out, this past 3 months Iam actually working out with weights.   I have had the knee X-rayed and they say say they see loose cartlidge in there, and the told me at the time of the accident that I had deep tissue bruising.  Benn a pain in the ass ever since.

Thats why today I really enjoyed walking the civic center, Hopefully all this darn ice melts soon, and I can walk all the way down to the lake! with the doggy...

MG~

LOL yep I'm the same, the only problem is usually the more I want something to arrive, the longer it takes to get here. Go figure lol.

Treadmills bore me too Spa, I like being outside and seeing what's going on etc lol! I like walking around town instead of driving or whatever, taking time to smell the roses, so to speak lol!
Hmmm I don't think the post lady even came today I haven't seen her around anywhere. Hurry up post service I want my shirts damnit! LOL

I love to walk, but really only outside, otherwise I die of boredom on a treadmill and I only like to walk in decent weather. But it's enough, for the most part.

Ugh that's so stupid, you have two legs, use them! People would do that at my old workplace, and it was only a 4 storey building, they'd take the elevator instead of the stairs. Lazy bums. I enjoy walking/taking the stairs/running and all that I could only hope other people would also, obviously they don't care LOL.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I am with you 100%! MUCH more than the normal population.

Hell, I work in the tallest building in the whole city. Four stories. Fully healthy people take the elevator up to the second floor...sigh.

[Becks] Sunday, March 29, 2009 6:15:40 PM
LMAO 4km is a lot more than a large portion of the population can run so pfffffffft I would run longer, but usually 4-5km is enough for me to feel like I've actually done something LOL, sometimes I just keep going though.
I need new running shoes, only have my old army issue ones, they do nothing for my joints which aren't very stable to begin with lol.

Couldn't be happier!

Haaa! You should describe yourself as a "sprinter" then! Sounds more impressive than a 4k! LOL!  As long as you have the proper gear. Gotta look the part. Nice shiny shoes, top, go through a 1/2 hour warm-up. HAAAAA!!!!

Me? Treadmill save for the marathons races. "Weather" freaks me out! Only thing worse than wind for me are HILLS! Too bad Nashville (Music Marathon) is known for them. Ah well. What else have I got to do, eh?

A HUGE and heartfelt congratulations to guido and his Alma Mater!! A methodical and impressive dismantling of a very talented Louisville squad.  That game was a wonderful example of what college basketball should be!! Super job by the Spartans and best of luck against a very good UConn next weekend. I am looking forward to that game!!!!!!! Shaping up to be a GREAT Final Four!!!!!!
[Becks] Sunday, March 29, 2009 6:03:01 PM
I'm a short distance runner, so only 4km, and yes outside. I try to go fast though, lol. My legs have felt like lead the last couple of runs which is a pain, hope that stops soon. It was overcast outside and mild, temp of maybe 15 degrees C maximum? So nice running weather - what I prefer anyways LOL. No wind either which is a bonus, I hate running in to a head on wind LOL.

The lightin in there was horrible..  If you used the flash.. it reflected off the car/bike, and you get what looks like a sun spot..   So I didnt use the flash.. I suppose I could have adjusted the camera, but there were so many people I didnt feel like screwin around with it..

A guy around here who owns a tatoo parlor, has his SUV airbushed with some impressive work. It appears that the side of the vehicle has been ripped open and there is a dragons eye peeping through the rip, in keeping with his sign work from his shop apptly named Mystic Tatoos.

Hey! Who said anything about stillettos?!? You looking in my closet or just some wishful thinking?

Personally, I was thinking KISS. Or those shoes Fly Guy (Huggy Bear from Kojak days) wore in the classic "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka!" One of the funniest damn scenes...his fish had died before he got out of jail.
