hey Zomby YEAH MAN IT KICKS AS? MAN.ENGLAND HEY. well if you want HIM him to come to ENGLAND you are going to have to DEMAND IT (MAKE A DEMAND)
Halford: “We’ll look at what, realistically, this new Halford IV release will afford us. Promoters are all about bringing a band in and what’s relevant in today’s scene. As we do the San Francisco show, the Montreal show and the Ozzfest dates, I’d like to feel that everybody will be excited to see what this band is still able to achieve. There is no point in going out without some purpose or some kind of satisfying moment that you get from being in a band and that the fans get from what you do. So, if all that clicks and connects there will be more dates coming together definitely.” [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by zomby from Tuesday, July 13, 2010 8:58:46 AM)

HB, it is a fiat palio (diesel 1.7l) I love it.. It is only 3 years old and it has only started to do this in the last few months. I have to take it in because it is pretty dangerous but I don't know how to explain it to the dudes at the garage.. Craig thinks they will ask us to show them what t does and.. well, it's pretty random so how is the best way to explain it to them?
I've been very good with upkeep and maintenance.. it has had every service on due date since the day I bought it etc.

probably a problem with the accelorator cable. intermitent problems are the hardest to fix, but there is probably a simple way. not sure how the Fiat stuff is put together, and dont know much about Diesel, but if it were a gas car I think its probably a dirty linkage, or damage. unless you have a floor mat causing the pedal to hang up. Here's a question. How is it The Black Crowes got linked to that LA hair metal scene. They're more of a hippy rock band than a bunch of glam queens? Reason I ask is because they were always in those shitty LA metal mags in the late 80s and early 90s. If I was a Black Crowe I would feel very aggrieved about that association.

Then he told me his fiance was pregnant so the wedding was postponed.. All I could think about at that point was Luca.. does he miss his mom being there to hold his hand through all of this? And by all of this I mean does he miss her being there when he had to have surgery to have the broken bones in his foot changed, is he ok with the changes of a new brother or sister on the way so soon after mom being totally taken out of the picture? No doubt he loves his dad but he was so close to his mom.. and no matter how much he hurrts, what joke or anecdote he wants to share with her of if he just wants her to tuck him in at night.. she'll never be there.. I wonder.. How is he really doing through all of this. If I'm this torn up.. how is my dear Luca doing without his mama?

Bud, rest assured, you caused no pain at all. I'm getting through life one day at a time with this but thankfully I do have a wonderful understanding husband who is here for me when I need to cry. I miss her every hour of every day but as I said when I saw your pics originally, she died living and that is how we all should be. It would be silly of me to put a bad rep on skydiving because of a freak accident.
Thank you for your kind words and support. It does help me very much xxx [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Budred from Sunday, April 25, 2010 4:55:13 AM)

I bumped into my best friends ex husband in the store today. We were polite and pleasent to each other, like we'd have no reason not to be. After all, the parted on amicable terms. Then we got to talking about their son whose just broken his foot in five places. I asked how he was doing and Alain said he was just fine.

I thought that may be who you were talking about but I didn't want to post if I was wrong.
I feel bad for the boy but I feel bad for you also. Obviously you are still saddened. The only
thing I can say is be strong, time heals. I still feel a little strange for posting those pics. I
feel I caused you some pain even if unintentional. Take care. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by joedraper from Sunday, April 25, 2010 4:42:23 AM)

I do get to see him and his brother (her eldest son) on a regular basis. Luca lives a few houses down from us and Lorenzo lives pretty close too. In the beginning it was so hard for me to see them because of the pain we were all feeling but I realized that they need as much normality in their lives as they can get right now. So I had to put my fears of spending time with them and breaking down aside so that they could still have the regular interactions with us like they used to have. Their birthdays are coming up next month and I know it will be hard for everyone having their first birthday without Mom around.
Naturally they have good and bad days but it's still so raw for everyone. I should find out if we have a service like Elle's place around here because they certainly could do with all the help they can get. Luckily for the boys, their fathers are very stabel people who have always been in their lives. Luca is just so young. He's turning 9 next month and has become such a quiet little boy.
Thank you for your prayers HRMG, as you know, I am a firm believer in prayer and apreciate everyone.
Stupid as this sounds, I still get angry when I try call or think I have to tell her about something funny in my day and she's not there. I wonder how long it will take for me to finally 'get this.'
I can't even imagine how traumatic it must be to lose your mom at such a young age. I hope he has someone he can talk to. That certainly is a lot of change for him to try to deal with all at once. I'm sure he misses her just as much as you do. Do you get to see him a lot? I think it would do you both good if he could come over and spend some time with you and your family. I hope his dad and step-mom to be are understanding and supportive. We have something here in my area for grieving children called Elle's place. Is there anything like that where you are? You are in my thoughts and prayers Joe.

That would explain a few things. I guess the "Things that make you go hummmn" thread had so many shi*heads on it that the thread got outright banned, unless even Soy, asked for it to be banned. So we were on our way to the Yamaha dealership to collect my new TW200 (Ok I'm not replacing Helena but something smaller to go off-road with turns out to be a good idea) Anyways.. I get this call from my mom asking when I'll be home so that she can call me on the landline. So I tell her that I'll call her in about 2 hours when I get home.. She says '2 hours.. You'll only be home in 2 hours?' I promise her I'll call her as soon as I get in and she says.. 'no need, we're standing on your doorstep.'
Surprised is not close to how I feel about their visit! lol.
My Stepdad drove from 4am to get to us for a 'surprise' visit. So I dropped Craig at the dealership and he picked up the new bike that I still have to name, dunno why Piglet is coming to mind lol.
Mom and Stepdad are cuddled up fast asleep now after their long journey. Wow.. what a way to end the week!

If Judas Priest were to do a cover song for their next album, what song do you think they should do? Or do you think Judas Priest should not make a cover song for their next album? What'cha all think?
[hellrider 31038] Thursday, March 18, 2010 10:29:24 PM
Hmmm, I honestly can't think of a song that Priest should cover. I think they should just do a CD of all new material! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Thursday, March 18, 2010 9:07:32 PM)
