The METAL GOD HAS SOME REAL TOP NOTCH METAL THE PROBLEM HE HAS IN MY OPINION IS HE IS LACKING A LOYAL FAN BASE HE ALWAYS GETS FUC?ED.HE IS FORCED TO REACH OUT IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS .. However, I believe in my heart that there are two reasons that JP is calling it quits. I have no proof to offer to back what I believe, but I believe none the less...
1. There are health issue(s).
2. Rob's solo project(s).
They're not kids anymore. They're teetering on 70 years old!! It already takes them 3-5 years to put out an album and with Rob insisting on taking time to do his solo work, that adds a couple of years. Those are very important years at that age group. If there's health issues (remember the start of the last tour??), that's just too much time in between.
Being a part of JP is a full time job, not part-time. If all 5 are not willing to put the time in, then I agree, what's the point. Not having a record deal or not having new material are certainly NOT reasons for the end of JP, far from it. Health and dedication are (IMHO) are why we are seeing the end the way we are seeing it.
A sad way to end the legacy of the greatest Heavy Metal band ever. |

Yeah but Dio was "sick" and he came out and said it,and as we all know Dio was "very ill" and still the guy recorded "Metal Will Never Die" while undergoing treatments for cancer and if one of the band members are "ill" then what are they doing going out on tour that will last them well into 2012? Thats basically 2 years of touring!!!
And I'll buy the fact that Halford's solo project "may" be in the way yes but as for age in general....no way,Lemmy is 65 years old and has no plans to retire so why couldn't a 59 year old K.K. Downing release another last studio LP for his fans? It all comes down to that obviously the fuckin band isn't "into it" but yet all of you guys are supposed to jump up and down and "get into it" while the band are "not into it"?? How does this make any sense? So basically the band are going to "take your hard earned $money" so you can see them live while they themselves are not "really into it"??
They aren't into making another album but you who have been aching for one for 3 years now are supposed to keep your mouth shut, spend your cash on a ticket just to see them sway back and forth on stage pretending that they are having a good time. This isn't a cellebration of "metal" or the band, its a god damn funeral!!!
I've tapped my last bit of dirt onto the grave, said my goodbyes and will forever just shake my head at a band that was "supposed to be these MASTERS OF METAL" ......so where in the hell is this "metal"?? Nostradmus?Thats like AC/DC putting out thier last album as a country western album?
Priest releasing a watered down pile of opera isn't what millions of long time JUdas Priest fans had in fucking mind! I'm now walking away from Judas Priest's grave site and back to the metal community. "SIGH". #1 let down in metal history Metallica. #2 letdown in metal history Iron Maiden. #3 letdown in metal histoy "Judas Priest". Case closed. Have an "inspireing new year".

Its pathetic (not you guys, the fact that we have to plead with the band) that we are left with Nostradamus as the last Judas Priest album.
There definately isn't any plans on working on new material,if there was they would of mentioned it with the "big news" in December. Pssssft...."big news" my ass....what a lame shinanigan they pulled on us here man,we all were jacked up for this "big news in December" crap that Rob was mentioning but we never thought we were all supposed to jump up and fucking down because Jayne Andrews released information that the band is touring one last time without a new studio album wha-hooo right? Bullshit!
THIS TOUR IS ALL ABOUT GETTING MORE "$" CASH! Money money money is what they are after on this last tour or they wouldn't bother,it sure as hell would sell more than a new album that the trendy fucks out there wouldn't listen to because it doesn't have Living After Midnight on it,or You've Got Another Thing Comin......only the "hard core" long - time fans would be buying the record, which isn't enough to pay for K.K.'s golf corse "BLAH"!!!!

Actually Head Banger the Girl School cover they did "Race With The Devil" thats found on the bonus Sin After Sin album is pretty cool, but all the others yeah I don't like them either. This is sad,is this what we've been reduced too here? Pleading for Priest to make 3 new songs?
Like I said we've been shafted by the band here and the band didn't have the god damn common courtesy to give us a reach around!! A big round of "boooooooo's".
Oh I almost forgot.....a big "fuck yourself" to the geek "tasnam1"( just because I said so ) you chicken shit little bastard!

I agree. three new songs written from scratch would be fine, but leftovers are not. none of the bonus tracks on the remasters are worth bothering with.

If they did this it would probably be some leftover bonus tracks that aren't any good. lol! Need a complete new cd. |
