That's cool...we started work an hour later today but I didn't change the time on my alarm...so after I shut it off I laid back down and sure enough I fell back asleep...so I've been pretty much chasing my tail all day...and on top of that, I've been having one of those days where I'm a complete klutz!!! Everything I pick up, I drop...take a sip of coffee, it's on my shirt...ever have one of those kind'a days?? lol

Not much up, just roaming these empty threads like a ghost because I have no life! HA!! Ah, but at least I'm still me and that is all that matters! LMAO!

Oh yeah...she's definately a Diva, but well grounded!! She's been the lead in all the High School plays since Junior High and all the summer programs and whatnot. You should see the mail she recieves from the varying colleges and Guilds that want her...it's insane...but for now she'd be happy working at Taco Hell Bell...lol

They'll know more as time goes on. From what I understand is that the audition was local and she sailed through that. Next is all the local winners will go in front of them before they get to go on TV...so it's gonna be a bit. I will definately keep ya'll up to date as information comes in!!!

Hey, just got some fun news...my roomies daughter just passed the first stage to be on American Idol...she goes in front of Paula, Simon and Randy...she's a 17 year old aspiring singer/actress...she's in all the local productions around here and always takes the lead role...I couldn't be happier for her if she was my own daughter!! What sucks is that now I'll have to actually watch one of those shows, which to this point I never have (ugh!!)...but I surely will if I actually know someone who is going to be on it!!

Hey, just got some fun news...my roomies daughter just passed the first stage to be on American Idol...she goes in front of Paula, Simon and Randy...she's a 17 year old aspiring singer/actress...she's in all the local productions around here and always takes the lead role...I couldn't be happier for her if she was my own daughter!! What sucks is that now I'll have to actually watch one of those shows, which to this point I never have (ugh!!)...but I surely will if I actually know someone who is going to be on it!!

Why thank you!! Winter was so long and cold, I will not complain about the heat, especially since I have central air HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I love ice cold water when it's hot. You can keep all the pop and garbage like that...water and iced tea for me!!!

Thanks Joe--you made me feel better --no one knows until they go through it themselves but you made me feel better along with all the other friends I've made here
I go to the graveyard & talk to both of them & I have all the family pics & I light my mom's favorite candle scent & that helps but there are some days I feel just plain blue--oh well I know both my parents are in a better place --They're not sick anymore & one of these days I'll be with them again

Isn't it amazing how nothing ever takes away your emotions when you think of your parents not being there anymore? I know exactly what you mean when you say you remember everything about that day. Like it has been frozen in time.
Well, as I've gotten older, I like to think that if he had gotten help for his illness that he would have been a different person. To everyone outside the immediate family, he was the best guy out. The most loyal and best friend a person could have. I try to remind myself that he was ill.
If I could, I'd give you a huge big hug and say just talk to me about every good thing you can remember about him. I do that, try to remember the good and you can still talk to him, tell him how much you appreciate and miss him. I believe that they do hear us.
Your parents did an outstanding job bringing up such a strong woman like you!
You have surely made both of them proud.

I just feel ssoooo blue today--it's been 9 years & I vividly remember everything about that day but I can't remember what I had for supper a week ago --that's how much of an impression he had on me--he got me into sports & movies & taught me to be polite to everyone & laugh at myself & he was there for me when my mom died --even tho his heart was broken just as much as mine
