[Screamin' Demon] Monday, July 20, 2009 3:19:23 AM
Because my favourite singing voice is my high pitch raspy one, which fits perfectly on songs like Painkiller etc. Other than that I'm a bit of a demon. Name comes from a monster truck named "Screamin' Demon"
[Resistmenotsurrender] Monday, July 20, 2009 1:10:21 AM
Any true priest phanatic knows where "resist me not surrender" comes from. a dark, forboding lyric from "TYRANT"..also its so far from the obvious priest related user name, and hell,it fits!!
[Lessy] Friday, June 19, 2009 1:34:57 AM

[british.steel] Thursday, June 18, 2009 9:17:25 PM

[spapad] Thursday, June 18, 2009 9:14:57 PM
So now you know. It's listed back a long way, and my guess the reason Maple told you guys to come here for his name is that it is listed here, and well, if you want to know, you'll just have to backreadd. Nothing wrong with that. Also tells you so much about so many others. Try it sometime.

....... I am icecreamman becuase I was in a band a couple of years ago, and well, I wore a Blue and orange stripped shirt with orange shorts. The guitarist said I look like a push up (a orange creme Ice Cream thingy ), and called me the Ice cream Man. By the way Ice Cream Man is my favorite Van Halen song.

[HOT ROCKIN' METAL GODDESS] Friday, May 15, 2009 3:02:43 PM

I was nicknamed the Metal Goddess back in the mid '80s by my brother and his friends. My parents were out of the house and I had Priest cranked up as loud as it could go and I was singing along. My brother and his friends could hear me around the block!! They were quite impressed and dubbed me "The Metal Goddess" since I'm such a HUGE fan of Rob's. As for Hot Rockin' - it's to be able to tell MG and me apart and because I WANNA GO, I WANNA GO, I WANNA GO....... HOT ROCKIN'

[poochie] Tuesday, May 12, 2009 10:52:55 PM

[Ellieke] Wednesday, April 08, 2009 3:11:35 AM
I started chatting 12 years ago, I just lost a friend who's name was Ellie , and it was here name that first came up when I got to give in my nickname
So 12 years later I'm still Ellie and a lot of people call me now Ellie instad of using my real name.

Even my husband ( ShadowVt) had till a few mounths ago "Ellieke" as my name in his cellphone , he chanced it now to "darling" lol
[ShadowVT] Tuesday, April 07, 2009 6:08:10 PM
My Name ShadowVT came from the time i started chatting abou 15 years ago
i wanted to use shadow but everytime i logged in the nickname was taken so i had to find something that would be a little bit more special
so because i drive a Honda Shadow VT 800, why not put those two toghether so it became ShadowVT
from Shadow V engine Twin cylinder ;)

Nothing wrong with hippy parents! Mine is easy too, just the first initial of my first name and the first 5 letters of my impossibly long name.

Have to agree that's pretty cool as well...along the same lines I have posted before, but here's mine...on any other site I'm a member of, I use names like 'priestfan' while playing on-line poker or chess, or if someone else has it I'll use 'mmpriestfanmm'...so I figured when I joined here, why not be myself??

[Vaillant 3.0] Friday, March 20, 2009 12:56:59 AM
Now how the heck did this thread get this far down? Oh, well... up ya go, you little thread...

I know I already wrote about my online name, but it's been a long time.

So...why my online name? Simple. There was a book I used to read quite often when I was in high school. It was called "Death Comes for the Archbishop" by Willa Cather. One of the main characters in that book was named Joseph Vaillant, a friend of the main character. I always thought Vaillant's last name was pretty cool, and just thought about using it as an online name. The 3.0 part came from the fact that AOL used to give itself so many upgrades during the late 1990's (AOL 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, etc.). I thought those commercials were kinda neat...so a mixture of both and...voila!! My online name!!
[_strat_] Thursday, February 19, 2009 6:32:17 AM
It can... just legalise euthanasia. Non-volountary too.

Now now, let's be clear. I actually said "turning over in his lazyboy."
"Rolling" is a word that seems to indicate a little more effort than I actually intended.
