LOL the first few weeks back are always hectic I reckon. Work wise for me, average. Yeah, sometimes the drums and the bass sound like one unit. Add the sound effects and the guitars and it gets more difficult to tell one from the other. Don't worry, you'll do fine.

Hopefully I can get this song sorted ok. It's a little confusing cos a couple of quick bass guitar notes follow on straight from a bass drum note, so discerning those is a pain.

I'm also wanting to save my money to get a second crazh cymbal - that way I can start playing some other songs like Electric Eye. I have a ride but it doesn't sound right for that purpose LOL.

You cannot possibly imagine how many bands HAD a singer that was a drunk or drug addict and got tossed!! HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! I have met some interesting folks in the past couple weeks. Seriously! LAST night, I auditioned in some guy's LIVING ROOM while a Cd played through his TELEVISION!!!!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!! I am NOT making this up! NO mic, no nothing. Just me, standing in his living room, singing with his TV. Oy! Oh, and get this; his "business plan" is to make a bunch of demo and then fly to Germany for some "Rock Fest" and hand them out until a label signs them!! ..........?
ANYHOO...all is well. I have decided on a group that really seem to fit me well. They are a reformation of a former act and seem to be well grounded, smart, fun-loving and I can certainly "grow" with them. Bunch of school teachers!! HA!!!!!!!!!! Seriously! Anyway, they like my voice, don't mind that I am 107 years old and fat AND they play pretty well. Sounds like a match made in ...Oh, I have NO idea!
Hope all is well here!!! I do peek in on you but I have actually worked myself into a situation where I am BUSY! (Go figure) The Princess is working at this Justin Timberlake Charity event in Vegas so she is all "Justined -out"...has credentials and a fancy outfit and is all excited..HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you thought YOUR life had meaning!! HAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHHAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! |

Hello again! LOL! I'm home from donating blood and work, it's pissing down outside, stupid weather.
I have decided the next song I am going to learn and record is Solar Angels - not a difficult or hugely exciting song, but it's one of my faves off Point of Entry |

I fully see the logic in that Kiamat! Hope your day gets better Spa!
Me and my friends are off to do 'a soundmap of culture in Sheffield'- wandering up and down the main street with a recorder, yes, this is what we do for a music degree, hmmm. Should be good fun, so I'm not complaining much (except for it's cold. Not looking forward to winter here. The crazy thing is that Sheffield is slightly further south than Manchester, and not that far away, but sooo much colder, totally different weather. Is weird). | | spapad wrote: | | Holidays! HA!! I love them when they are mine, but when they are not, I hate them. Not offense to our Canadian friends, hope you all had a good thanksgiving with all the trimmings, BUT!!!!!!!!!! Why in the Hell do we have a federal Holliday called Columbus Day? Which only bank types and federal employees EVEN GET!!! I ordered more RAM for my computer this past weekend, paid 2 day shipping and when am I getting it? NOT in two days! Thanks to the useless holiday nobody who's not connected to the fed's got!
They just don't understand!
My Friend Kirk Understands! He would Abbolish Columbus Day and give us all a World Wide Enterprise Day! With Free Delivery of all things Computer! I NEED MORE POWER!!!! DAMNIT!!!
HUMMMMMMMM, ok, psycho rage over. calm, calm, calm, Wednesdays not so bad? Ok, forget about it.
Sad Spa. :( |

LOL Geez Freeze! When you were asked to audition to the stereo TV, you should have asked them, "Can I,.... at least..... have a hairbrush handle to sing into?" LOL
Now, really DF, you should have asked yourself at that time...........What would Captain James Tiberus Kirk Do?
