I empathize with both of you, however, Craig snores like a steam engine going at full speed and he's pretty skinny so I don't necessarily believe the 'lose some weight' thingy from the Dr. Have you asked him to check if you have any pollups? They can cause probs. Craig has narrowed sinuses and I know he can't help it but to prevent a night of him being kneed or elbowed sharply in the ribs by myself, I've taken to wearing earplugs to bed. They don't drown out the sound completely but they do make it barable enough for the non-snorer to attempt some sort of sleep.
I am pooped from a busy, busy day! First competative ride of the season for me. It wasn't the longest race but there was a headwind that took no prisoners! Finished my ride in 2 hours but I was aiming for 1.5 hrs. I think the wind had major factors to do with it. It was only 46km so I'm pretty bummed about my timing.. Although I think I did do well enough to work towards better seeding by March which is what I'm ultimatley aiming for. Then my children acted as if they hadn't seen me in years when I got back home, it was kinda funny for the first hour and then tiredness crept in and they just got more and more energetic. I'm so tired and drained now that I reckon it's time for a soak in the bath tub, some cocoa and a book for as long as my eyes are prepared to stay open or some good old fashioned saturday night television. | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | Pfff! Well, I am pretty sure I did not snore but my friggin front teeth are killing me now!!! HAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!
Not sure how many of you are familiar with these things but they are clearly a left over concept from the Inquisition. The idea is that they force your lower jaw forward and open your airway. That works just fine but the trade off is that it puts tremendous pressure on your lower front teeth all night! YOUCH!!! Mind you, I am an old man and while I still retain all my REAL teeth, I am certain that most of them are not the strongest little buggers in the dental world. Sheesh!
I guess it will have to do for now as the only alternative is to sleep in the other room. I saw a doctor for it and got the usual, "try losing some weight" bit. Oh boy! You think the Princess didn't pounce on THAT??? HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAHHAHHAA!!!!! I am NOT eating celery sticks and Yoplait...... ANYHOO, one man's struggle. Good morning Metalheads
Wow...Saturday!! Now that was a very long work week, 53 hours long!! Feels good though, considering the industry I'm in. Six months ago were being laid off every two weeks, now management is trying to find ways to limit all the overtime Damned if you do, damned if you don't!! Hmmmmm, if this keeps up, we just might have a pretty good Christmas!!! |
