About queensryche... well I think people mut be more open-minded (if that's the way they say it in english). It is not fair to call it a failure before seeing something of that show, or hear something what they're going to perform.

And I believe it must be hard for artist to do every year the same kind of music, or at least boring. It doesn't have to be metal ALL the time... don't get me wrong I'm a true fan of metal, I love everything about this music... but some artists are not afraid to explore other styles. Ok, maybe cabaret is too far away from metal, but I don't think those guys really think about that, they must be interest only in giving a good show, so let's open our minds and see, before throwing rocks at it. Plus I believe Queensryche never was a 'static' band, you can always expect something different from those guys.

And about Goeff loosing it, well Yes obviuosly, he is 50.. People get old. Do you think Rob sings the same way than when he was 25?, or Ronnie James sings the same way either?.. Yes, they do a better job than Geoff (I'm not comparing them) but you cannot expect people to sing the same way forever. I just mention them, because they are my favourite vocalists .

Well it's just my opinion. Plus, maybe reading 'Goeff Tate', with the words 'lust' and 'naughty fun' was simply too much for me LOL

So, how's everything over here? I missed you all Edited at: Saturday, October 17, 2009 3:48:09 PM

Interesting about the bike on E-bay, and it is sad that it`s only there for profit. But look at this my Priest family, find a picture of the bike from the tour then look at this closely, we haven`t lost that much at all. I`ll say no more. Edited at: Saturday, October 17, 2009 11:51:10 AM

Yeah! Like ME, damnit!!!

Well, Freeze is going to buy me that little item for an Xmas present and Guitardude is going to teach me to ride. I am putting both on my list to Santa.

This makes me sick!  A "true" fan should have won this bike not someone who just wanted to make a profit.

Now the musical version of Mindcrime doesn't surprise me one bit since it was obvious to me that Geoff wants to be on Broadway based on that MindCrime 2 DVD. As far as Geoff losing it, YES he has actually. I just saw them in May, and his voice was horrible. Listen to any of the clips from the US tour and he sounds horrible in all of them. They even pulled Take Hold of The Flame from the setlist, probably because he can't sing it anymore. People complained about his voice in the first couple shows and they pulled the song.

I dunno, but this just sounds like a larger version of what goes down on Saturday nights at the Ruby Lounge (a Rock/pole-dancing club in Manchester). And I have to disagree that Geoff has lost it in recent years- their last album may not be classic but it was a solid effort, and their 2008 UK tour worked well with the onstage actors etc. It may not be 'traditionally' metal, but who says it has to be- this band covered Andrew Lloyd Webber (and did it well), and Operation Mindcrime is in the process of being made into a musical. After that, this isn't such a big step away.

I heard on Eddie trunk today that they are going to bring lita ford on tour with them, but instead of her opening, she will come on halfway thru, and QR will be her backing  band????

So Queensryche are coming out of the closet then.

A cabaret?!? Tsk tsk tsk... Somebody must have added something to Geoff's food. There will probably be more pervs in the audience than fans of the band.

Yes they are!!  I don't really give a rats ear if Rob does a christmas album or not but why the hell did he waste a "Halford" album for this?
Ressurection,Crucible were heavy metal albums and now christmas carols? It doesn't make sense to me at all.

Sorry MG, but this is NOT a Halloween gig. The notice I received says that it is at the Snoqualmie Casino, FEBRUARY 4-5.  They couldn't pay me enough to go see this joke of a show.  I went to their last tour and they were horrible. This thing doesn't really surprise me at all, especially if you saw the MindCrime 2 DVD. Geoff has gone over the edge, period. Freakin' Go Go dancers and shit? Are you KIDDING me? Wow, I wonder how many people will be there.... the guys wives (maybe)?   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by ~ MG_Metalgoddess~ from Sunday, October 11, 2009 7:30:04 PM) Edited at: Sunday, October 11, 2009 7:50:21 PM
