It's great to hear that you're daughter is doing well but a bit of a drag to hear she has so many more treatments.
Hopefully this will soon be a memory and all will be well. Take care man and good luck!

I want to thank Hellrider and Joe for their comments. They are appreciated. I have to get this out of my head to prevent migraines
so I must make this my last post on this. The funeral is tomorrow. His fiance wants to have a gathering at his place afterwards and
I'm struggling with whether to show or not. It still hasn't been determined if it was accidental or on purpose. Do I shun her for something
that may have been accidental or do I support her. I'll probably go. Please don't respond to this. I must stop!
Thanks for the support!

Bud, this is where you should come when horrible, unthinkable things like this happen. We're sort of a little family here and we're here to help each other through pain and hardship like this. Nothing you did created what happened so don't beat yourself up about that. Rather concentrate on how you can be of help to your friend's family.
I am so sorry that you have to go through this. Sudden death is so horrible. All I can say is you are in my prayers and you can speak to any of your friends here (including me) anytime you need support. This site and the friends I have here have helped me through some horrible situations. Let us be here for you xxx [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Budred from Thursday, January 06, 2011 10:50:49 AM)

I wish we would have gotten his text sooner. He didn't even tell me he sent it the last time I saw him. It was a bit
sad reading it. Just an hour before my wife told me I had to, and I was looking forward to it. Now it just makes me cry.

Hi everyone,
its has been awhile since we have posted here, because the difficult times with our youngest princess is not over yet
we have some bad news
the treatment at home has been carried out now for about ten weeks, she was getting chemo pils at home sort of after treatment after the treatment she had in the hospital with all the baxters and stuff
After these 10 weeks they suddenly noticed that the docter that was treating her gave the wrong perscription dosis, he had given her a dosis of 5 mg of chemo but it should have been 50 mg
the result could be that our daughter has gone into a relapse of the leukimia cancer and that the whole treament will have to be done all over again.
for the moment we are still wainting on the further blood results this coming friday, if those results are negative than monday next week we will then have to do a bone marrow punction to so the extend of the damaga that has happend.
hopefully it wont be that bad, but the blood results of las friday were saying otherwise the max count of 4000 and the results were 6000 so thats troubling us allot.
according to the information we got from the doctors there was some confusion in the medications and she said maybe the pharmecy made the mistake so that is how it always goes
doctors dont make mistakes maybe a bit confusing and the others are responssible for the mistakes
that dont intrest us the only thing thats important for us that our little princess gets better soon and gets cured from the lukemia
we will keep you guys and girls informed about the evolution of this case

After the last post I was hoping to hear something positive.
I commend you for not "mistakenly" choking the doctor or pharmacist. Stay strong, things do
work out sometimes. Edited at: Wednesday, October 20, 2010 4:41:28 AM Edited at: Wednesday, October 20, 2010 4:45:30 AM

Wow man hope the lil angel gets better soon. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers bro.
Ah Shadow!
That is a terrible mistake for anyone to have made! I just pray that the results are in her favor and that a miracle has happened. She has been through so much, as have you and Ellie.
You are all in my prayers.

Ah, crap. VERY sorry to read that, Shadow. 10 weeks of the wrong Rx strength?! Amazing.
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery. Do keep us posted as I know that we all wish you and your family all the best.

Hi Budred,
The time that we were not on the forum was because we had e very very busy schedule to get everything done here and defenitly not because of your appearence or posting.
i always want people to be straight foward and honnest.
I don't know either of you personally, but after my initial appearance I've thought about you more
than anyone else here. I was quite concerned that since you have not posted in so long that news must be bad.
To read your post made me feel so good. I am (sincerely) happy that things seem to be working out. I hope the
serenity of your vacation brings serenity of the mind. I can't pray but I hope on all things good that things continue
to go well. Take care!

Craig, I totally get wheat you're saying. When you're that close to a situation it is impossible to not be emotional. I have been very emotional since all this broke out and unless you're in the situation (like you were) it is hard to explain to people how you react to it.
I apoligize for making my problem everyone elses problem. I just am so freaked/stressed out and afraid for my family's future that I turned to the board because so many of you genuinly care out here.
Thank you to everyone for all the kind words and support.
I will keep you posted on the progressions. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Craig Wagenhoffer from Thursday, April 15, 2010 1:38:52 PM)

Craig, I have to admit that I'm very suprised by your post...in a good way!! I was really shocked at your original post, I wrote what I wrote and left it alone. To now see you come back the way you have in your last post, all I can really say to you now is 'thank you'. As Randy and Pam expressed, what you did took guts and I have nothing but respect for you for that!! Thank you for taking a second look at it. If more of us did that (myself included), we'd all be better for it.
I would like to apologize for my shenanigans. I admit that my post was too rude and way over the top.

Craig, I would just like to say that it takes a very big man to apologize and take responsibility for his actions. I applaud you, I really do. I wish more people were able to admit when they were wrong. I admit that I really didn't like what you said, but now I understand where you were coming from. Yes, it really is scary to see what we as people are capable of. But then again, we are also capable of doing GREAT things as well.
As far as keeping your trap shut, well..... we are all guilty of letting our emotions get the better of us. God knows I wish I'd kept my mouth shut on a lot of things! I was really trying to come to grips with an appropriate response to all of this. It's very difficult for me. To begin with, I really LIKE Craig. He's a good egg. I am not all that sure he is a "racist". He has an opinion, however misguided it may be.
I am old enough to remember the Watts Riots as well. I lived through the Civil Rights Movement of the 60's and I remember it. I have often said that I am not an "oppressed" black man so it is really beyond me to try to think as one. I have never been denied anything due to my color. I do not know what it is like to live in such a manner. Having acknowledged all of this, I must say that I agree with Guido completely. To paint all people of color with the same brush by suggesting that they are violent by nature is simply ignorant.
The environment in which one lives has much to do with one's behavior. There are good and bad in all peoples. In all countries. I have never been to Africa, Somalia, the Congo or any other "black" country. I have NO idea what life is like there. I do know that people are people and things like slavery were not invented by white people. Man has enslaved his brother since time began. It is sickening and sad and a blemish on ALL humankind. I also know that I, personally, have never owned another person (black or otherwise). Neither did my father, grandfather or great grandfather. I am fairly confident that I had NOTHING to do with oppressing blacks and, therefore, I feel no particular guilt nor debt to them. They are just people like me.
We cannot change what was. We can only make our little part of "now" as good as it can be. We also cannot change what others do. There are scum among us and it will always be so. Murderers, rapists, child molestors, Brian Evans impostors, etc. They are the filth of the world and will be here long after we have gone.

Remember my post about intolerance. This is exactly what I was talking about. I feel so bad about Joe's situation
and I so commend her for her last post. To endure what she has to and still speak out against racism shows what kind of person she is. I have nothing but respect for her. I so wish the world could follow. I can't pray but I hope and
wish nothing but the best for Joe and her family. Show support all, she deserves it. Peace!
I do feel for Joe and her situation and being forced to leave a home that she belongs to is injust. But Mr. Craig's post was not about that. He took this conversation and used it to his own means of hate speech. That is pathetic. There are many reasons for what has happened over the years in America and in other countries, but sadly it all comes down to hate being taught to a generation of beings, and passed along down the line. This is the poison that will kill us all.

Dude, if you know your history, there were also MASSIVE race riots in Detroit in 1967. It spread out to other poor cities in Michigan and most of it was, IMO, the direct result of many years of white on black oppression. Like you, I cannot fathom what is going on in another country (especially S. Africa at the moment) but I can speak about what I know.
I also lived through the time Craig described in his little hate speech. Sorry, I don't think it anything BUT a hate speech. Pay close attention to the video. Many went to the aid of the white people being attacked. It was described again and again in the news about how certain "people of color" went out to do the right thing and defend their fellow Man irrespective of their color.
Craig seems to step over a little white problem called SLAVERY. Segregation followed for years and, still, he blames blacks (not just African-Americans as many ARE Africans) as having some sort of "hate gene." Sorry, don't buy it nor do I like such racist remarks and, yes, they couldn't be more racist.
I do agree, as I have said, that there is nothing I could imagine to even begin to understand the problems of South Africa. Of course it is worse than the race riots here. Then again, go back not too many years and the KKK was alive and well doing everything and anything they wanted to the blacks in this country.
Hatred is not an innate trait to ANY culture / race / religion in my humble opinion. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by jimmyjames from Sunday, April 11, 2010 2:40:22 PM)
