I agree head banger. And Spa,Oh I wasn't trying to sell them short or anything so I wasn't being negative I do agree with what you are saying,I don't think Angel Of Retribution is "watered down" but Hellrider and other people do. As we know and have said before the band created AOR in the vien that fits into Screaming For Vengeance and Defenders and were trying to add some other elements.
Ian said that the bass riff for Revolution was written in 78' during the Hell Bent For Leather sessions and really the song has that kind of vibe to it but some people think its "nu" metal or weak sounding although I'll admit it's not a brilliant track but it does sound to me like it could of easily fit on the HBFL album.
Demonizer and Hellrider could easily fit on the Painkiller album. I think that its hard for me to imagine an entire album in the vien of Painkiller,I think they would add songs in the style of Metal Gods,Some Heads Are Gonna Roll and Bloodstone too.
Of course if they made an entire albums worth of tracks like Painkiller that would RULE but If they made an album like Retribution but replace Revolution,Worth Fighting For,Angel and Lochness with 4 other tracks like Rapid Fire,All Guns Blazing,Freewheel Burning and Demonizer I would be happy.

Ok, Nos was not what we wanted, but they are fully capable of delivering the goods! Now they have Nos out of their system, which was not a tragedy, we can expect, some good solid metal. The likes of which will blow us away.

Well, let's see Brian, 646 posts from you and 90% of them are pictures/videos of Iron Maiden or praising Iron Maiden in the Iron Maiden thread that you created here on the JUDAS PRIEST website. All anyone, including the members of Judas Priest have to do is click on your user ID, click on see posts and then go to the bottom and click on view all to see just exactly how much you talk about Maiden and how awesome they are. Rarely, if ever, do you comment on how great a band JUDAS PRIEST is on this the JUDAS PRIEST website. This is a direct slap in the face to JUDAS PRIEST, the band that the rest of us are here as diehard fans of. When you do talk about Priest, you say they need to "Get their Painkiller swagger back", "It's Painkiller or bust", "Scott sounds like a drum machine", "Priest needs to get a third guitar player and get some new blood", "Hope they don't try to make us eat their Nostradamus leftovers" - you know, rips like that.

If you want Painkiller swagger, then go put the Painkiller album on and LISTEN to it! I have 4 copies of it if you need one (2 original and 2 remastered). What is the point of repeating an album that has already been done? All I want is a return to BRITISH HEAVY METAL to blow away all the so called metal bands that are popular now!!!
