Guy contacted me. Seems he sold it locally.

Personally, I would have taken off the gas tank with the sigs to preserve it anyway.

Hey Guidogodoy, I agree about you comment on Quebec, my parents went there and the pics are beautiful. Once day I will afford a trip there myself.

Thanks, guys!! Hopefully this sort of obstable can be one that's not too difficult to overcome.

HB, send me that cardboard box via Fed Ex. And don't forget to add those styrofoam peanuts. They will serve as my mattress/pillow/blanket.

Hey Ron!! I have the perfect idea that fundraising party you mentioned: I can sell pancakes!! 1 dollar for every three pancakes!! No stealing my idea now...

K2M. Thanks for the wishes. I'll be in SoCal next Wednesday.

I would never ship with the brown hordes

once my wife had an antique clock shiped to her.  we didnt know when it was sent, or how.  about a month later I go on the back deck, here is a box, with a note, saying we were not home when they tried to deliver.  on the waybill it noted the value of the clock was $15000 (yeah right) and had our phone number.  damn thing was out there in the sun, rain and snow.  could have at least left us a message.

Damn tuition fee hikes are pissing me off. I'll have to pay 32% more next year. Looks like I'll have to live by the local creek in a cardboard box once next Fall rolls around. Hell, I'll be freakin' blessed if I FIND a cardboard box. The future's looking very uncertain. *sigh*

Oh yes, the dreaded door opening.. How the hell do they not see us? I mean.. maybe it's because I cycle but I NEVER open my car door without looking first. And the added danger comes in when you realize what they are abou to do and you have to make a decision of either being hit off your bike by the door or swerving into trafic and being killed by the vehicle behind you. Tell me again why we are so addicted to this sport? lol.

I tell you what's pissing me off today, I have a really cool race tomorrow, the Tour De Vino and I am so mentally prepaired for it that I can hardly wait for the day to arrive. However, I do a weather check this morning and we've got rain predicted for the day. My start time is 8am but I need to leave home at 5am because their will be partial road closure (something every cyclist is grateful for lol). Now this means I need to get up latest around 4:30am. Still not what is pissing me off. What pisses me off is that it is pretty dangerous to ride in a bunch of like.. 20 000 nervous cyclists in the rain. Especially with slick tyres that are pretty thin. I am by no means afraid of getting wet, I'm terrified of falling. Broken collarbones is just not what I feel like risking tomorrow. If I get up at 4 30am and it looks crappy do I cox the whole idea of the ride or do I just say Feck it! I am going to do this ride and take the chance of falling if the weather is crappy?

Advice please!!!!

oh and ps: as to what I love about my country, I accept that this is my country of birth, I live here, I love it and its people warts and all. What good is living in a place if you haves absolutely no hope? There is violence and evil everywhere. Not just in South Africa.

That said Michele, I am so sorry for what happened to your parent's business and I am also very relieved that your step father as well as none of your family were harmed. I hope you are well and am glad to hear your relationship with your step dad is improving.
