8 degrees celcius - roughly 46 degrees F - for my non-Canadian headbangers....overcast/grey/cloudy but not too bad, nice to open the windows finally and get the stagnant air out! Already spotted crocus and other bulb flowers peeking out now that the snow has been completely gone for a few days....yay spring!

While I understand vegans (well, sort of), Im really confused by the kinds of vegetarians that wont eat meat, but eat fish. Or eggs. Sure, there are people who cant for medical reasons (like allergies), but to be against brutality to cows, but not fish, just sounds a bit weird.

Yup. I read about that a while back. Their flatulence contains high levels of methane, one of the so-called "greenhouse gases". Have you ever seen a cow farm? It's basically a methane-producing factory.
