LOL..... I know , The weather is only crap when it's middle of summer and we get the really high temps with high humidity. I like warmth, but humidity..... It's a bitch.
What's it like in the southern states of America?.... Must be a similar climate to here?... I want an ice storm!!! The aftermath looks so pretty (even if it is dangerous):
...and it's sunny and bright here in CA, with highs in the 60s. |

SUCKS! The ice storm of which I have been complaining of late has finally done me in. Lost power at midnight last night and, as the whole house is electric, that means no heat, stove, OR water as I have a well system. Had to run out to freakin' Walmart at 8am this morning just to buy two gallons of water so I could soak my head to try and tame my hair (and you've all seen pictures of THAT).
Even better is getting to work to find that the water main burst leaving the building without water or bathrooms here. Oh what fun. Especially now as I sit typing in a freezing office (they shut the heat off at 4pm) to get a project off via email to someone who needs it first thing tomorrow.
Play on, folks. Back who knows when... |

Jeepers Creepers It's Summer here and yet we had the whole Summer's rain all in one day. At one stage it was so hard you could barely see out of the windows. We're expecting the same amount tomorrow. |

BUT NOW I'M IN THE OFFICE WITH A CUP OF COFFEE AND SOME PRIEST TO WARM ME UP.
TONIGHT GOING HOME AS IT GETS COLDER WILL BE LOADS OF FUN. My glasses are made of that flexon material that you can literally wrap around your finger and never have it loose shape or break and, best yet, the ice makes it REALLY easy to drag a dog off a deck and out onto the lawn! HAAAAAAA!!!! | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | WOW! Easy to drag! | | Deep Freeze wrote: | | *yikes* Stay indoors, guido! And make sure Calvin "does his business" in the proper facilities! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool and clear here in Vegas. Odd, as I see that they are finally closing the roof in Melbourne due to the heat! Strange woman, that Mother Nature. | | devils_child wrote: | | 30'C - Cool, windy and overcast..... Ahhhhh. |
