HA!!!!!!!!!!!!! No no no!! Sorry, my friend. Just don't see myself walking on ice anytime soon. Can you imagine the thunderous tremor caused by my inevitable fall????? Not to mention the girlish scream of agony as my spine disintegrates, leaving me a hulking mass of quivering fat, slowly freezing on the "house". Nah, I wouldn't be so cruel. In a nutshell, sweeping can change both the speed and "curl" of the stone. Look at a shot after an opponent "takes out" a rock. A sweeper often will start sweeping the other's rock to get them out of the "house" or target.Speeds it up, iow.

Believe it or not, I watched the Sweden/Canada match yesterday. STILL don't get it but it appears to be shuffleboard on ice...

Oh my goodness Joe! I'm glad she's ok, sounds like it was very frightening! I had croup for ages last year, it's bloody awful, sudden coughing fits that you can't shake, which also means you can't breathe. Horrible. Again, I'm glad your girl is ok, hopefully it doesn't happen again!

She was screaming in a panic and it took a while to calm her, get a room steamed up to open her throat and then slow her heartbeat down. When we got the lights on her face was blue/yellow so she obvioulsy was not getting enough air in and the hysterical crying was not helping her at all. Neither did the flaming fever help the situation. So we got her some meds and had a restless time until the alarm went off. By the time she woke up for school she didn't even remember what happened. Probably a good thing but scary as hell for us!

Yeah it was pretty scary. I even felt a bit worried putting her down tonight but she's in our bed so we can keep two sets of beady eyes on her lol. We prepped her earlier and said to her if it happens again tonight to try remember that we steamed her and that helped so that she doesn't freak out when we take her into the steamy bathroom.. Lets hope it was a one off thing.

OMG Joe! I can't even imagine how scary that must have been! Thank God she is OK! She is lucky to have two wonderful parents who knew exactly what to do for her. I'm glad for her sake that she doesn't remember anything. But you will probably remember that fear for the rest of your life!

Who the ***** insulted your band Freeze? They'll be sorry they crossed a fellow Priest maniac of mine! I take this band is the FAITHFUL DEFENDERS?
Other than that, how have you been, mate? Still planning to come to Portugal? It's a LOT warmer over here than over there in the snowy US, hehehe.

Good evening everyone. I see it's been a sunny day in Priest land, whereas it is far too cold in my neck of the woods, once again. Watching winter sports while being cold does nothing for me. I do like the figure skaters though. Night everyone, just passing through on my way to bed tonight.

It's raining in Africa today. Very strange for this time of year and seriosly interfering with my training.
