Yes very original, even if someone is not into thier stuff(like myself for example)they can still or should still be able to see and hear that they are not cloning anybody else, that deserves respect. Yeah Maybe I shouldn't use "nu-metal" as that sounds like Disturbed or Lincn Park...while Rammstein are "industrial".
The only album I've really cared for from an industrial artist and its just one album from them is 1998's album "Chaosphere" by "Meshuggah" but I don't like any other Meshuggah album,I heard Chaosphere right when it came out in 1998 and they have never released anything like it since. But their live shows and showmanship are definately incredible Joe,sorry for the confusion my friend! One thing is for sure...Rammstein didn't "copy" anybody...they came up with thier own style and sound, not just a clone of some band and even though they are not my thing,I can appreciate that.

Judas Priest - The S.A.W. Demo |
Demo, self-produced
1988 |
|
|
|
The demo was recorded with pop producers Stock, Aitken, and Waterman (who
produced a string of English hits in the 1980s) shortly after Ram It Down
was completed. The recordings were done as a one-off and Judas Priest never had
plans to work with Stock, Aitken, and Waterman for an album or other sort of
Judas Priest release (although Pete Waterman claimed that the band were
interested in doing a full album in this style, contradicting the statements
given by the band members). At the time, however, Tipton and Downing mentioned
in interviews that these songs (the two originals were written by Stock, Aitken,
and Waterman) could be used for a film soundtrack if the band were asked.
Halford suggested that the tracks would be released someday, but ultimately the
band decided against this, and said they realized doing so would probably cause
most fans to turn on the band. |
